You will stay the whole class period, but not because you are really learning, you scramble to keep up with how fast he goes as if he HAS to cram every boring topic of stat into that one class...If I where you I would take Cindy White in summer

The language barrier is awful. You can barely understand what he says! He is extremely disorganized. My class has failed, as a whole, 3 quizzes! Out of 7! He just does not teach so that we can understand. He's a nice guy but an awful, awful teacher. But you can usually use all your old quizzes on the test (and the quizzes usually ARE the test!)

I'm a B student and I think he's Very unclear in his teaching methods. You would do much better teaching yourself from the book. If you ask a question, he begins to answer then gets of subject and never makes a clear response. You'll spend up to three days on the same problem because nobody gets it. I would highly recommend taking someone else.

Seems like a nice old man, but just a very bad instructor. He gets himself confused all the time when trying to explain concepts. He lost the multiple choice section of everyone's midterm exams. If you try to ask a question, he usually doesn't understand the question. He always shows up late. We usually only have class for about an hour and half when it is supposed to last 2 and half hours. Yes, I'm always happy to leave... but this is graduate school, and I should get the class time I'm paying for.

Accent makes him hard to understand. Doesn't cover everything you need to know for the tests. His lectures are confusing and his tests are difficult. Really nice guy, who cares about students, just doesn't teach effectively.

At first he seems very hard but as the class goes on he will help you out as long as you are nice to him. His examples are not always that clear so this class does require a lot of work. In the end he ends up making the class easier.
