Martha loves what she does and cares a lot about her students. I took all of her classes my time at JCC and would recommend any and all of them. Truly a great professor and person!

She is an all around great and wonderful teacher, be sure to show up to every class, take good notes and you'll pas with no issues. One thing to note is that she often doesn't give much graded material beyond a couple of exams and a final so any homework or other graded material should be taken VERY seriously.

Writes all notes by hand on board. Takes about 3 pages of notes per day. Teaches until the very last second of class. Will also call you out on random questions, especially if you're talking to someone next to you or your phone's out. Try to pay attention and you'll be fine. Tests are extremely long and hard, with most being open ended questions.

Professor Zenns is extremely nice, and she goes at a moderate pace. She writes all of her notes on the old-school blackboard and what she writes is all you will need for exams. Reading the book before coming to class helps, that way when she starts drawing a thousand different types of graphs you know what she is talking about.

Comment:

Best teacher at JCC. Has a lot of experience from the real world which she uses to teach lectures and makes it relatable and a lot more interesting. Lots of notes, but if you take good ones you'll get an easy A. Took as many classes with Martha as I could. Goes above and beyond to help students. Plus, she always has the best candy!!

Martha Zenns is truly one of the best professors at JCC. Now that I'm working on my bachelors degree, Martha is still one of my favorite professors.You can tell that she genuinely loves her job!

Unbelievably boring. Pages and pages of notes every single class. Its the longest hour and fifteen mins of my life! Test are SOOO hard, multiple choice questions with 6 possible answers kill you. By far my least favorite professor I've had at JCC. Content isn't that hard, she just makes getting an A next to impossible.

As a non-business major I had absolutely no problems in the class. Didn't open the book once the whole semester (With proper note-taking, I would recommend not wasting the money on it at all). Very easy to understand and a nice person. A fair portion of the class was just understanding basic mathematical relationships, which I thought was lame.

One of my favorite teachers from JCC. Does a good job at explaining things. Is helpful if you don't undertsnad. I also had her from Micro econ and marketing. She is a good teacher, marketing was interesting. Macro and micro were boring, but b/c of their subject matter.
