He is a great professor to take if you want to express yourself and do some thinking outside of the box. He encourages students to create new ideas, and allows everyone to speak their minds. You must attend class, show up on time and participate to do well. His teaching style is unlike any i've ever had before, but it makes the class more fun.

His class is very unique. He wants everyone to participate and to express their thoughts on the reading. He steers the conversation, but he respects the students thoughts which is awesome. He is not teaching for the class, he is teaching life. I learn about life in this class...It is amazing. Plus he is so sexy that I can't keep my eyes off him!!!

Such an experience! I loved both classes I took with him! I left every class enriched and motivated! People who tend to be Close-minded and pretentious shouldn't take his class because he challenges you to think. His material isn't typical, which makes his class especially exciting! beware however, of the old ppl in the class they're fussy and rude

Where do I start. Very unprofessional Professor. Actually had the nerves to tell me to go away after we got our exams back and I went up to him to ask him some questions. He thinks he is teaching High school students. He wants the CLASS to teach the material, not him. Thinks everyones life is easy and that they should devote their life to the class

hes really a nice person but if your really interested in literature and if your very outspoken then take this class. he wants to students to have a discussion. you will do well if you read and participate. he gets very upset at the class if no one participates. i feel bad for him sometimes because he really wants a discussion.

This guy is the most amazing human being i have ever met. Very easygoing and clear. The only work to do, is read books, take a midterm and a final, and write 1 paper. "If you didnt read, it will be a hellish experience. If you did, it will be a walk in the park with Flavio". Great class. If you participate, the tests and essay wont even matter. A+

3 Papers, 2 are 3 pp. each, and last paper's 8 pp. 5 Short story books, reads just few each book, not all. Short midterm and final exam, straight from short stories. He don't pressure students at all if they keep up with readings and show up on time. Take him for easy A by doing just 3 papers that are just jokes, not hard @ all. Good Luck.

Don't come late to class.The class did poorly on the first exam, but he was still generous in giving me an A-. You just have to READ and PARTICIPATE. I didn't really like the materials covered in class. His life story seemed more interesting to me. But he still managed to make class interesting. Participate n he'll call you a "hero." Overall, nice.

can't say he's horrible. 2 short papers, one 6 pp. final paper, one midterm, one final. midterm is long, final is short cuz we also have to do the final paper at that time. for a guy who makes spelling mistakes on the question paper for the essay i think he's a pretty hard grader. he shud grade himself and see what he gets instead of grading us.

well he is a great professor. he has energy, and is totally enthusiatic about what he is teaching. His midterm was sort of long but decent. the papers that he made us write (3) were pretty simple. however make sure to participate and he does look for attendance. Pretty good over all ^^
