Some questions can be tricky but if you attend class and take notes you will do fine. An 86 percent will get you an A. Professor Frank let's you use your notes and book on the exam. I believe this past semester was his last semester teaching. I am honored to have taken this class with Professor Frank.

Frank's class is probably easier to get an A in than any other... just make sure you buy the textbook as you can use it on his exams, along with any notes you have. He doesn't take attendance but I recommend going to class, if anything he's a funny guy and won't waste your 50 minutes.

Frank is an awesome guy, he passionate about his subject and he's super easy going, and extremely helpful if you ask. Class consists of 4 tests, all open note, open book, he gives you some of the questions the week preceding the test the out the lowest grade of the first three tests is removed. Sadly the spring semester of 2012 is his last :(

Great guy, very helpful. However I don't think he has a strong grasp on the material he's teaching. Can be easily confused by student questions. Goes off on a lot of tangents(sometimes funny). Sometimes gets lost in his own notes, gets frustrated, stops working through the example and simply states the answer without showing how he obtained it.

With other professors I have struggled with physics, his explanations were easy to understand and his examples were very helpful. I'd recommend taking physics from him. He follows the text closely, so make sure to buy the book, especially if you need study material or extra help.

Hartranft is a really easy going dude. I took his physics 1 class over the summer, and he made it real easy. I didn't have to study much, and when I did, I went over the problems we covered in class and the ones he has us look at in the book. You study these two things and you're golden.

Frank is an awesome guy! Not only is he passionate about his subject but he's super easy going! The class consists of 4 tests, all open note, open book, he gives you half the questions the weeks preceding the test and he throws out the lowest grade of the first three tests. Lastly, he doesn't give minus grades and an 86% gets you an A,71%=B,56%=C

I took this class for summer school and was by far the easiest science class I've ever taken. Open note tests? Just pay any sort of attention and you should get an A. Funny guy too.
