the test is the same as hes review just diferent numbers. a total of 20 questions of hw through the whole semester that count fro a grade. pretty easy, you just have to pay attention and ask questions. Math book will probably teach you more than him.

Well I suck at math, and at first I definitely tried to drop this dude, but it didn't happen. Definitely a language barrier, but he speaks english you just have to LISTEN! Grades on a huge curve which is GREAT! I had to study my butt off for a C. I went into the final with a B and I KNOW I BOMBED THAT FINAL(30%). Just Try

Ive had him for two classes and I got an A in both, but its not about the grade, I need to learn the material, and you may do good learning the material with him. He does have a language barrier, but the material is in the book. If you need to take advanced math, dont take him after 1111, unless you are great at math and just want to seep in class.

Kim Jong Il. Mr. Chung needs to be teaching calculus at GT, and not teaching people who are either taking math for the first time in a long time or just suck at it. The fact that his speech is indescernible well beyond a simple accent, (i.e. "porabora") make this course further unbearable.

I like this prof., he is very good at what he does. There is a language barrier, but if you pay attention to the board and read the book, you will understand the material. He does grade on a huge curve, but if you do the homework, you will do well on the test. He has to meet the requirements of the Math department, so the material is college level.

Very hard to understand w/ his accent & its SO boring. Only reason I got an A is b/c I took precalc last year in high school. Homework is graded. 3 tests. He gives review sheets that are just like the tests. He curves his tests. I got a 70 on a test & he curved it to an 85. You can drop a test grade if you miss 3 days or less. Annoying class & prof

I would not reccomend that anyone take this class. He was extremely hard to understand. He did not give clear responses to questions that were asked. If you decide to take his class be sure you make it to every class on time and be prepared to be confused about the sections while being offered little or no clarity from your professor.

Do work in class since he gives very similar problems on his tess BUT not the same one which is easyly doable.This is CAL I not the Algebra, so you need some practise any way! Good for current or X-ESL students. Take class with him. He curves, so u'll get eventually an A if you have B.

DO yourself a huge favor and DO NOT take him! He is very very hard to undrestand ,and you have to study by yourself. His tests are exactly the same as his sudy guide. It is easy to make A or B in his class, but you have to study yourself. You better not ask him a question because he wont answer.

Great teacher...Very in-depth and will go over almost exact problems that will be on the test. He hands out study guides, as long as you can do the problems on the guide you should ACE his tests. Highly Recommend!

HUGE CURVES ON TEST!!!! basically, with his scale, as long as you pass the test, you get an A on it. seriously. he is kind of hard to understand, but his study guides are almost exactly what the test is.. so, just study that and you will get an A! also, extra credit points for doing problems on the board.

The best Math teacher I have ever had. I am absolutely the worst math person in the world, but professor Chung did a great job of presenting the material and assigning enough work that I was forced to learn the material.

I am an aweful math student...to tell you the truth I have no clue how I got out of the class with a C. He seemed to be concerned with me at the end of class when I told him how badly I needed a C..I got it. Go to the Math help lab, he checks to see if you care. It will pay off I promise.

JUST PUT IT LIKE THIS, AFTER THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS 10 PEOPLE DROPPED. WORST MATH TEACHER I EVER HAD AND I LOVE MATH. GOT AN "A" IN COLLEGE AL AND PRE-CAL BUT I HAD TO DROP HIS CLASS BECAUSE HE MADE THE MATERIAL HARDER THAN IT REALLY WAS BEWARE.

The best Math teacher I have ever had. Explains everything. Tests are challenging but far from impossible. Go to class do homework and get an A. He takes an intimidating course like Calculus and makes it simple and easy to understand. THE BEST!!
