One of the kindest, most understanding professors at GSU Perimeter. I would take his class a thousand times and feel like I learned something new each time. He his sarcastic- in a good way, and he's always willing to go into detail if you don't understand the topic. I highly recommend professor B!

Mr. Bennekin is a good guy. He is really funny and chill but his class is mostly lectures so sometimes it does get a little boring. He wants all of his students to pass. He is a really busy guy though so some of the work we did never got graded and its hard to reach him out of class.

Great professor, many extra credit, and clear grades. He has power points for studying. It's very important to attend the class because all the tests comes from his notes plus the book. If you care about your GPA take him for the class.

Easy class. Prof Bennekin is one of the laziest prof I have ever seen, but he gave generous grades. You definitely learn something about history with him. The lecture is hilarious. No textbook needed, so don't waste your money to buy it.

Mr. Bennekin is quite a guy. Bold sense of humor. His 8:30 class got longer as the semester drew near the end. Gives generous grades. Forgets to get some grades posted. Essays or the main issue with waiting on grades. Easy class. Show up and take notes and pay attention and you'll get an A.

Overall its an easy class, the only problem I have with him is that he never replies to your emails and takes ages to grade your work. He'll say he will do something, but never does it. If you're a person who needs extra help from a professor, he is not the one for you. Again this is an easy class, and he curves the test grades.

Bad!He is not nice at all. I don't think you can get any help from him. He enjoys when students do not know what to do in his class.His class is so boring. Some classmates and me want sleep in class. There are 12 quizzes in total, 60% in the test, but he never return the quizzes back to you so you won't know the answer that clear. He uses turnitin.

Easy. Curve is crazy. My final grade was 107 because of the curve. If you want an easy A, he is there for you. Don't expect to get any help from him tho. he gets mad if you ask for help.

If you've ever watched Family Guy, Bennekin is like Cleavland Brown. His class is easy, but it's difficult to get help from him because I don't think he wants to be there anymore than we do. He's one of the laziest professors and that's sort of funny. We've gotten 100s on essays that he forgot to grade. Just attend and stay awake and you'll do fine

I don't understand why people say he's so great. His hybrid History part 2 class is completely unstructured and you can't get him to help you out. He is lazy, takes forever to post grades, and overall just doesn't teach. This is supposed to be college, and I know we aren't supposed to be spoon fed, but he does NOTHING! Frustrating! Take Simson.

Diffrent style of teaching than im used too, but knows his stuff. He has dry humor and makes the class interesting. as far as grading goes he is very liniant and all though his test and quizes are hard he does apply a generous curve. I did learn in his class and like anything it depends on yyou how much you learn.pay attention and youll be fine

This professor makes the material really easy to understand!! His notes are much more organized than the book... Im a Non-Native and I easily learned the history even though I hadn't heard any of it before. Online quizes are very easy, Couple of essays and 1 major Research Paper, gives enough time though.

GREAT TEACHER! I wasn't much of a history lover but now I am. Gives extra credit through debate & curves some tests. Posts everything in ICollege which is very helpfull. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!
