I absolutely loved Mr. Heidinger! (I only got a C in this class, but not for lack of trying.)He truly cared about how I was doing and making sure I was succeeding. He kept me interested and I appreciate the fact that he doesn't tolerate slackers!

This professor is awesome! I took this class as a "Filler" but absolutely enjoyed it. Tests were application of the material not just rote memorization so if you can't process that sort of thing, this is not the class for you. If you need Sociology, TAKE HIM!!! Attendance matters in your grade!

Mr. Heidinger is an excellent teacher. He's very funny and keeps lectures interesting. He makes sure that the information is applicable with lots of examples. He's awesome, but you really need to attend to get a good grade. Great teacher!

Amazing teacher, absolutely loved him. Kept me interested and truly cared about me and my grade. Always kept class fun and enjoyable while still teaching the material and allowing me to get something out of the class. Definitely recommend him as a teacher.

SocProbs/CultAnth & Wash DC trip - He is a super teacher. Funny, caring, compassionate, loves his subject matter, passionate about it 2, very personable, great people skills. Would highly highly recommend. Great personality. Even after you graduate he cares about you as his student. Just all around great teacher.

i really enjoyed gary heidinger's class. i had it as a 5 week class and it lasted 4 hours. it would seem like that would be very boring but he made it a lot of fun. he made a lot of topics that seemed sort of taboo easier to talk about. i absolutely reccommend him !

Very nice and keeps you interested during class. Will yell something funny every now and then. Tests are easy if you study (I failed to do so). Nice guy and everybody seems to like him. A lot of discussion in class.

Heidinger was a really good teacher, but you have to go to class in order to pull anything over a C...and he has the open door policy where students can come ask questions. Very helpful, hard material.
