The biggest blundering fool I've had the displeasure of being my professor. He's never on top of his work, tends to play favorites, and rambles about god knows what for nearly the whole period (Once it was Louis XVI age furniture, for 40 minutes) Was gonna minor in French, he convinced me otherwise. Glad I did while I still could.

Unorganized. Scatter-brained. Moody. Easily distracted. I guess he's a nice guy but I didn't really learn anything from him. The class was pretty boring if you exclude his temper-tantrums. This man is psychologically fragile.

ok, joseph assigns mad work, but he never collects or grades it all so youll end up having way more time to get it done than you think and it ends up being easy. He seems like he's hard b/c hes a ditz and confusing, i thought i was doing horribly in his class until i got my grade back and i did just fine! if youre a good or average french student youll do fine, but if not or a beginner he might be very frustrating for you. joseph is really cool though, with great stories, and a genuine love what he teaches

Professor Joseph's best classes are his Maghreb Lit classes, because that's where his interest lies. He is an excellent teacher, but won't tolerate laziness. I majored in French because of his teaching!
