The class is pretty easy for me, but it is tough for other classmates. You have to work for it if you want to get a good grade. His quizzes are tricky, so be careful about it.

Comment:

George is not an entertaining professor by any means. However, if you attend class, take notes and grind out the semester then he will give you all the material you need to get a good grade. This class relies heavily on attendance, and if you skip I bet you will not get a great grade. Overall he is pretty fair and he doesnt assign any homework.

Comment:

Im not going to lie, he is a tough prof. Quizzes are not easy, but statis is a hard course, no marks for attendance but you should go, he gives the info from his "trick questions" within the class. Dont take stats if you dont have to, but George is an Adequeate choice of you do.

Comment:

Absolutely one of the worst teachers I've ever had. Doesn't go over any relevant questions during class, then throws the hardest stuff at you in the quizzes and tests. Also puts straight up trick questions on them too, which is incredibly unfair. If you don't go to class, and teach YOURSELF the material afterwards, you'll really struggle.

take this course if you have a lack of sleep, you will get a good few hours of sleep as he talks with his monotone sound. the course itself needs lots of practice and reading if you are willing to teach yourself then take it with him otherwise I strongly suggest to take it with anyone else !!

If you don't make an effort to talk to him personally, he comes off as very unconcerning. It's difficult to get answers from him in class; he insists to visit during office hours. Explanations during lectures are very thorough and assignments are straightforward.

George is a great stats instructor. He provides really clear notes that explain the material really well. In lectures he goes over everything in a timely matter. It is test heavy but nothing is cumulative do it's only on 2-3 chapters each. He is fair with his marking but it can come across as tough. Definitely would recommend BADM210 with him.

I had George this past term. As my first statistics course, I came in with a lot of concern. For me, reading the textbook, doing suggested problems, completing chapter reviews and revising was key to success in the course. See him during office hours for additional help. He has a great personality and stays focused on delivering content timely.

I'm not sure why George has such a low rating. I've always been a student who struggled with numbers and George made statistics so easy. He provides great notes and practices questions that prepare you well for the exams. If you need extra help, see him during office hours and he will clarify any questions you have.

Nice guy, though he does misinterpret many questions brought up and marks rather harshly. Does heed what feedback he understands, and is readily available after class. Could work on being concise when lecturing.

You basically have to teach yourself. He is useless and doesn't seem to have any interest in the class actually learning. People who already know how to do applications do well, otherwise you're on your own. Asks for feedback and then gets angry about the feedback you give.

George as a teacher is fine, the problem is the class itself. Course curriculum is stuff we've all learned in high school, and is a waste of our time and money. Does Cap really think we made it this far without knowing how to make a simple power point presentation or format a word document???? Such a joke.

George is an amazing teacher. Utilize him for extra help, he makes himself available for questions and really cares about his students succeeding. He really tries his best to make sure students understand. Stats can be tricky, but George makes it enjoyable and understandable. I really loved his teaching style, it really worked for me. Practice!

George deserves high ratings from all students. Stats can be challenging for anyone, but George is an amazing prof. He is clear, and his accent people seem to comment on makes no difference. He is always there to answer questions and explain if additional help is needed in person or over email. I strongly recommend his class. His notes are great.

I don't like how he doesn't get straight to the point. Too much unnecessary talking. Really hard to understand him most of the time because of his poor English. Some of the tests are very hard because he doesn't give you the criteria. He just tells the class to do the exercises on SNAP to study for the test but they are useless and not helpful.

He makes you work for your grade for sure! he's passionate about what he teaches and as long as youre willing to question things, he'll be really helpful. Struggles with explaining himself sometimes, but really knows his stuff. Thanks George.
