Professor Seifert is very straightforward. Grades are based on tests and clicker questions that are used during class. So its important to go to his lectures. Kinda monotoned and boring but he's very knowledgeable!

Comment:

Taking both SOC 201 and SOC 303 with Dr. Siefert has been a pleasure. He is an AMAZING teacher both inside the classroom and out. The class is relatively simple as long as you study from the book. The projects require some work, but Dr. Siefert is always there to assist you in any way possible. I would HIGHLY recommend taking any course with him!

Very kind, helpful, and inspiring professor. One of the few professors out there that doesn't make you feel bad about not knowing something, even if it was explained numerous times. Very trustworthy!

Pretty easy if you stick to his Study Guide before tests. Awful lectures. Listen to him, and you'll realize he's an offensive man who's slowly retiring his bigotry.

Only under the loosest, most tortured definition imaginable does Seifert "teach" anything at DC. Absolutely hands-off approach; I needed all of 4 hours to rush through a full semester of his up-front independent coursework for the easiest A in human history. As intellectually stimulating as preschool, but without the fun of finger painting. Avoid!

What a great class and a great professor.Dr. Siefert always has a smile on his face and makes you feel welcome to every class. To the make-up request...He drops the lowest grade so just do well on the last three exams!!!
