He lectures every class and can go too fast. His tests are in-class written essays. Your grade on the test is his decision of how well you connected to the topic rather than your position, format, and support. He grades tough and has little reasoning for why. He assigns a lot of reading that you can get by without doing.

Dr. Reid knows his stuff very well. However, he is hard in his grading. He is more interested in how you connect to the thesis of an essay more than he is your understanding of the material. He is not an easy A. The writting assignments are easy but he is tough on the essay tests. I would not take him again.

Very nice guy and class is pretty straightforward - no surprises on tests, etc. Our only real homework was to read but to be honest you can get by without doing that if you just go to class. He's super into what he's teaching. I think Native American culture is one of his expertises, so yeah.

real nice guy__his tests are a little hard but as long as u study everything that he puts on powerpoint you'll get a B or so. It's hard to get an A but you really dont have to oay attention in class what so ever. The only time u have to read is before a test so u understand what the author's perspective is.
