One of the better creative writing professors at Hollins. He has given some of the best critiques that I ever received, and does not take ****. He will ripped up my work and made me a better writer. Do make sure you attend every class possible, because he is a stickler for that.

You either love or hate this guy. I hated him at first, but now love him. For all his gruff demeanor, egotism, and long rambling stories, he really is a nice guy who wants to impart some knowledge of writing to the world. It can be hard to sift through, but if you can, it is definitely rewarding and worthwhile.
