He is a horrible teacher. He should be called a teacher. Watch out for this guy. I did every homework, all lab material, and I did good on all my quizzes. His syllabus is confusing and he loses track of grading material. His knowledge of cars is pre 1990 and don't ask him for help because his know how is terrible. Don't take this class.

Yaswen is a good guy and he means good but hes not a good instructor. The class is very unclear and the grading system is terrible. The lectures are boring and doesnt teach the material well. He does not prepare you for future classes .He only gives you 1 hr to do the final which is 100 questions, its insane. I do not recommend this class.

Lectures can be a little dry, but he's a funy guy. I liked him. He didn't treat me differently cause I'm a girl. He's an easy grader and overall the class was way easy. Do the homework, take lots of notes and you'll do fine. The final is 100 questions of T/F and M/C.

Boring, not a great teacher. Hope you like aircooled VW engines because that's what he taught us the most about. Not fair on grading and spends a lot of time showing pics/slides from different parts makers ads to describe something. Not a good class.

The firt hour of class is ok but he starts to get boring. Don't expect to ask any high performance questions. He spent a total of 3 min talking about turbo and superchargers. he gives his little handouts each week that take two min to do if you know your vehicle. not a bad teacher, a little eccentric though.
