Makes note taking easy, lots of reading, but you can skip it if you go to class every single day. If you skip class AT ALL you will NOT pass. The lectures and handouts are where the tests come from, and she makes that very clear from day one. She is an interesting and fun instructor. Knows her stuff, and answers questions well. ^.^

Very nice individual. Comes to class a bit late and her notes are all over the place but there are kids who never show and do great on exams. Take it from a kid with a 3.5 overall, unless you have a mind cut out for micro-type-of-scenarios, all the studying in the world wont do a thing. For some its simple, for others very difficult.

Everyone complaining about her must be dumb. This was one of the easiest classes I have ever taken at Dearborn. Should be an easy A with Kim. I never touched the book just reviewed the notes and review sheet she gives the class before the test. Do that and you should be fine.

Don't let her good rating fool you. Her notes are written on the board and just all over that you get confused easy. On her exams she takes off points for things she didn't even ask for for example definitions of terms.

Would not recommend her. Her notes are very confusing. I used to love Macro until I had this class with her. She made me think twice about my major in economics. Take someone else for Macro is you want to enjoy the class and learn.

The lectures are extremely boring and at times the professor can be condescending, but other than that relatively easy glass, no hw, just 4 tests including final. you don't need the book, she'll say you do though. She gives reviews with answers online before the exam, MEMORIZE those and you'll be set, easy A.

Don't let the smiley face fool you! This prof is the worst. If you're lost in the first week you're lost for the whole sem. You can tell she doesn't have a layout of notes for each day, so her notes are out of control and hard to follow. She makes people feel stupid! She teaches like every1 is an econ major and says "a 5 year old should know this!"

I would never recommend this professor if you want to learn and especially if you are an economics major. You will find yourself memorizing from the sheets she gives you for the test and not learn anything. Not a very fair grader. Also she makes you buy a book which confuses you because she uses different terminology and formulas in the class.

The class, a little bit confusing at times, the teacher, amazing. She definitely knows what she is talking about and makes it very easy for you, all you need to do is come to class, write down what she writes down on the board, pick up her little practice questions (with answers), and study for maybe an hour for the exams, and you get an A.

Professor Kim is great, TAKE HER! To prepare for the tests all you need to do is review the study guides she provides. It should be noted the study guides have all the correct answers already. Her classes can be kind of boring at times, but nonetheless an easy A!

Excellent teacher. Highly recommend taking her, her notes are helpful for the exams but if you dont go to class she gives you practice excersises with answers that can get you a B on the test if thats all u look at.

Very thorough explanations. Exams come practically out of the notes SHE GIVES YOU! I missed a lot of class and got a decent grade (B). But I think I could have done better if I went to class more often. Material covered wasn't as much as it was in the syllabus. I recommend her over Miteza (who also teaches this course).

Horrible professor. She graded by name not by quality of your answers. If you don't attend class you are doomed. Not because the material is hard but because she is biased when it comes exam time. If she doesn't know your face you'll do no better then a C regardless.
