HARD class! I was not happy about having to take a REQUIRED class online, and it wrecked my GPA because I didn't understand how his assignments were dispensed. BUT, after finally meeting the guy in person (which you should do), it was a different ballgame--Stitt a totally amiable guy who just wants to help. I'm so upset it's only available online.

This class is not easy; however, I took it online and I have heard it is much easier than face to face. The tests aren't too hard if you use the interactive website to study; some of the questions come straight from the practice tests. Assignments include weekly discussions, 3 essays and 1 book review. He is a tough grader so be prepared!

If you plan to graduate with a BA in Criminal Justice then you have to take this guy. His lectures make no sense to what?s on the test and he also gives you take home essay. Also Web campus discussions. I hope this guy doesn?t stay in this department very long. This class is HARD

Horrible class! his lectures aren't clear and spends two days talking of things that are not even in the text! ALL TEST ARE HARD!! 75+ questions plus a take home essay 4 pages! It really sucks that he is the only prof that teached this subject!

Dr. Grant is a very interesting teacher with a lot of experience. Unfortunately, classes like this (theory classes) are a lot of lecture and students should be aware of that. Many undergrads complain when things are difficult, but if you attend class, think differently and keep an open mind, and study, you can do well and get a lot out of this clas

One of the worst classes I've ever been subjected to. Nothing but tedious lecture full of insults to students and random tangents of useless personal information. Tests are difficult and did not relate to much of what he discussed in class. No actual discussion/interaction with students.

If you enjoy hearing about his failed marriages and enjoy having your will to do anything else stripped away then you will like this class. The class sucks so badly because he is a horrible teacher and unfortunately the only one. The program would benefit greatly if he retired.

Turns interesting subjects into a bore- Does NOT relate to students at all! Star Trek class is a joke! DONT take it if you have never watched star trek. His tests are hard and full of terminology he never uses or explains!

I enjoyed taking classes from Professor Stitt. Theory was pretty tedious because it is mostly solid lecture. His Seminar is good, though, and thought provoking.

At $84k a year, one would think the UNR 3 ring circus leader would have hired a better clown to run this show. He is the reason why Law Enforcement Agencies rate the program so low, and the cause of poor alumni relations with the Univ. Good Work Grant!!!
