This guy was the hardest professor I ever had. He would give papers for drafting purposes that were warped already, and when you had to do a True line and it came out wrong he would complain that yo messed up. How am I suppoosed to do something correct when it is initially wrong . 1.85/30 for this guy, glad he cant torture any other students. Bye B

I am sad to say Dr. Bell is retiring and will not be teaching classes for Fall 2016, regardless of what eservices says. He was a FANTASTIC teacher; funny, helpful, knowledgable, inspiring, super nice guy, and all around fun. If you are taking this class know that he expects you to know what your stuff based on what he teaches. Good Bye Dr Bell :(

I hope he keeps teaching circuits so I can return with a diploma one day. One of his past student randomly showed up one day with a diploma and a job offer. I got a B without doing any homework, but I worked from the "Nilssen" textbook instead of the one he assigns hwk from. The "Nilssen" text has better problems, which he uses as class problems.

Great professor and a great man! You will learn a lot in his class also feel a little more confident about what you know by the end of the semester. 2 Exams, 4 quizzes (Do good on quiz 0), 1 final. There is no HW due, but do the harder problems from the book. It was a fun class. And about Bell, one of the best professors ARC has to offer.

Dr. Bell is a great teacher. He knows the material very well. His lectures are fun and very entertaining. If you happen to have a hard time understanding the material, ask a question during class. He will make sure that you understand what is going on. He is a fair grader on tests and you get a note page on the tests.

No pain, no gain. If you are a believer of this, take this class with him. Make sure you don't miss any of the steps he gave you, you will pass each exam and quiz with flying colors. I didn't ask him any questions(even tho he is supper cool and available), but if you focus on his lecture each time, it shouldn't be a big problem. Strict+helpful.

He is a nice guy, but when it comes to this class I found the lectures to be very unclear, handouts to be graded very strict, and asking questions resulted in a 10 minute lecture about something completely unrelated. This class in one word....confusing. (I don't think the material is difficult itself, it is just not presented well)

Dr. Bell is a fair teacher. He was very helpful if you wanted to use an older edition of the text. He allowed notes on the tests. He was pretty quick to get test graded. He had a lot of great advise. And there are many more great things to say about him. I had a hard time following him in lecture because it seems like he jumped around a lot.

Dr. Bell expects nothing but the best from his students. You need to have a strong understanding of the material to pass. You'll need to have a mastery of the subject to ace the finals. Cool guy, but he's not the best teacher. He taught as if we had years of experience. I asked for help but always ended up going back to the text.

Professor Bell is smart an passionate, but his presentation of the material is very unorganized. His lectures are confusing and stray of topic, which seriously cuts into in class problem solving time. He could be a better teacher if he structured his lectures better and kept his stories to a minimum. Be prepared to work hard and be very confused

Dr. Bell is an excellent teacher. His tests are difficult, but he is preparing you for transfer. They only get worse once you do. He cares about you and will spend the time necessary to help you understand the problem, even if you are a bit dense. Good guy

I had Dr. Bell for both Circuits and Statics. He is one of the best professors I have ever had. Go to his office hours if you are confused. If you put in the time and do what Dr. Bell recommends, there is NO reason you shouldn't learn the material and get an A. After taking Dr. Bell's classes, I feel extremely prepared for University. He's the man.

I have mad respect for Dr. Bell; he's one of the best teachers I've ever had. Yes, his circuits class is difficult, but if you can't handle it then you should probably change your major. He's all around a nice guy, superior teacher, and will give you what is needed to succeed in upper-division courses.

He's a good guy, and pretty funny. He has a good sense of humor, and I enjoyed this class. The first half of the class is deceptively easy, so don't let yourself think that it will be a breeze all of the way to the end. LRC circuits and Laplace required a bit more practice.

I really like him. He's pretty challenging. He is also very honest and helpful. Has lots of office hours and is very willing to help, but you have to ask. Sometimes, his expectations aren't totally clear. Again, don't be afraid to ask him for help.

Bell is a wonderful and very experienced engineering professor. He always talks about the engineering as a career, what you are expected to do in the industry, and finding jobs and interview tactics which is somewhat helpful. Material is relatively basic and easy, but it does require a bit of studying. I do recommend him for the circuits class.
