A very knowledgeable instructor at Thermodynamics he motivates you to push yourself beyond your imagination. You may not get the best grade however you'll learn a lot. In addition he loves turbines and talks a lot about GE

a genius at thermo, not as good at fluids though. He will be one of the hardest professors you'll ever have. Quite a funny guy and pretty chill. You can literally text him about homework problems. Its very likely to mess up at least one of his midterms in the course. But he curves a lot, so an A is not impossible if you review all the homework

I lived in his office by the end of the semster. He is the hardest teacher you will EVER have but he is beyond helpful because he is very knowledgable. It wasn't uncommon to spend more than an hour per problem. You may not get a great grade, but you will learn so much!

I lived at office hours, which I would never go to before. After taking his course, the next semester seems so easy. Quit your job and dump your girlfriend if you want enough time to learn. The Thermo book is worth its weight in gold. Metgalchi is a genius, but the TA was an idiot.

This guy is the best prof at NU. The best if you want to learn-not necessarily get a good grade. He will push like you have never been pushed before. HIs assignments are ruthless and he doesn't care about your social life, but you will learn! If you want to learn he is the prof to have!

Metgulchi seriously drags you through land mines, but in the end you know everyhting and can do what you need with your eyes shut. put in the time and you will come out with soo much. and he is hot, for an older guy :)

Hameed is one of few teachers who actually cares about each individual student passing. So he helps alot in office hours and even meets you when he is busy. But he takes you through hell and back before you can pass his class. Over 10 hrs of HW a week.
