I felt this class was a huge waste of time. We only did 2 projects (coiling and quilting) and they were things I could have easily learned from the internet or my grandmother. Attendance is mandatory even though she leaves the room for half the class. She doesn't even want to be there, so why bother with this class?

Comment:

Fuyuko is such a sweethearted woman. She means well and is always willing to help. I learned so much from her class and loved every minute of it. We did coiling (basketry),quilting, and paper making. I can't wait to take her advanced fibers class and learn how to Silk Paint =)

Love her! I learned so much from taking this class! It's important to go to every class to get the best of it. She can be a little hard to understand at times, but it's not a real issue. Good professor, I advise taking her.

Not very helpful... made inappropriate comments in class daily about students, and their work. her english does not make sense... she thinks she knows EVERYTHING and you are NEVER right... biggest waste of my time EVER

knows her stuff! very awesome professor and although hard to understand at times, doesn't mind answering questions or helping students out. doesn't take bs, but you'll learn a lot in the intro class. beware if you're a interior design major, she doesn't care if you have a million other projects in your other classes.

Fibers and Advanced Fibers. Great classes, great teacher. Very knowledgable - gives handouts clearly describing techniques and gives demos. Very giving and helpful woman, hilarious. Take this class!

this was the best class i took at IUP so far... she is really helpful and encourages students to expore new boundaries... shes also funny... i had a good time just showing up for class...:) take her!
