Comment:

The most amazing history professor ever met before. His class are well organized, usually starting from easy points into hard ones. His assignments are basically reading assignments which you have to do it (or it will be painful to take tests).

Dr. Goldberg is AWESOME. Yes, you MUST do the readings and go to class, but he makes it SO much fun. He's hilarious, laid-back, sympathetic, open-minded yet hilariously opinionated, just incredible. He really makes you interested in the material. He's this little old man with a black belt a brilliant sense of humor, take his class!!!!

20th Century is the best class I have ever taken. You will learn so much and get a much deeper understanding of the world than you had before. His lectures are interesting while his powerpoints serve as a small visual component. There is a pretty large amount of reading but there is no other homework. His tests are very predictable & not difficult.

Goldberg is a great professor. His classes are interesting and entertaining and he does a great job of keeping your attention as well as providing excellent insight into the material at hand. You have to do the work and read the material but it is worth it. He's willing to work with you and always open to opinions.

I love this professor. He is always available to help you and is always kind. He responds quickly to emails. While there is a lot of reading to do, you pretty much know what the tests are. As long as you do the work and come to class, you'll make a good grade.

I had Goldberg for World in the 20th Century. It was, hands-down, my favorite class. He's passionate about the material and makes you love it too. I didn't like History before this class, but this makes me want to major in it!

Comment:

He's highly entertaining and does a great job of bringing history down to our level. Tests aren't bad at all; sometimes have abstract questions, but that's the way thinking goes. He often goes off on a lengthy morality tangent, but that's a good way to mix philosophy with circumstances. Quite simply, I highly recommend him.

A hard grader but informative in lectures. Always entertaining although his inability to work the cd player bit gets a little old at times. Nonetheless, a great prof!!
