Enjoyed the class. You will submit something at the end of every class. However, he literally guides you the whole way before submitting your work. Learned some basic Excel projects as well as one Access. There will be a quiz the following class on what you turned in the previous class. He just rearranges some numbers and letters.

ProfChen has retired, so I don't know if there is a point of reviewing him, but I just finished his class, so why not. Very sweet man, but a terrible professor. The class was ridiculously easy. With that being said, I got the easiest A in my life, but concerned as to how I am going to explain to my future employer that I learned nothing about Excel

AMAZING person and professor. The nicest guy in the world. I HIGHLY recommend him. He is sometimes hard to understand, but if you pay attention, you will learn valuable subliminal life/business advice that is priceless. Almost like pseudo-philosophy. For the final be prepared to struggle, but he just wants to see effort! Effort--> gets an A

Professor is very easy and funny. He goes over exams a lot. The final is very long and confusing. He asked silly questions that doesn't have anything to do with the class. He always say everyone has an A until finals then they have a B or C.

He is a great teacher just don't push his buttons or he gets real mad. If you want an easy class take him. His test are easy and he goes over the problems before the tests. Dont bother getting the book, never used it. Make sure you come to class since he does take attendance. His final was really long and many did not finish, but he looks at effort

If you take this class with any other professor, you are a fool! He is hilarious and only wants to give all his students A's. His exams and quizzes are a piece of cake and he gives credit for effort. The only downside is that he requires attendance, but even with this it is the easiest class i have ever taken.

Took Professor's Chen class over the summer and I am glad that I did! Very knowledgable professor with strong accounting skills. At first, his accent may bother you but you get used to it. No need of a book as he explains everything very clear with provided examples. His exams are just like the examples he gives. Has a big sense of humor.

He is an easy teacher that provides good examples on how to use the Microsoft programs. Kind of hard to understand through his accent but if you listen closely you will not have problems. Goes over problems for the quizzes few times before you take the quiz and you can have your classmates help you. Couple group projects and 4 quizzes and final.

I probably would have gotten an A, but the final was ridiculously long. Other than that, this is the class to take if you want an easy pass. Don't really feel like I learned how to apply the information to real-life, which is disappointing as a Business major. Not bad.

Nicest man ever. Had him for accounting 201. He knows what he's teaching, I wish I grasped the information better, but professor chen is awesome. He cares about you, and there is no way you will fail this class. No way. I don't even think he gives C's. Great man.

Prof. Dr. Andy H. Chen is the best accounting teacher at NEIU, Very informative, awesome professor for Actg 451. He's extremely nice and offers a lot of extra credit. Very helpful, concerned about student performance I took his class in Under grade and Fall14-AIS (MBA ) class. I got an A. I hope he will offer more class in MBA near future.

Took him for 202. I did not learn anything, but I got an A. He has a principle called "3 times the charm." He gives you 3 times to do the test. However, only a percentage of the students will get that A. If you're not in the top percent, say bye to the A. He's a great guy, but not a great teacher. Take him if you don't mind not learning.
