I never showed up to class for anything except exams. The class is dependent on homework and exam scores. All homework is online, and is fairly easy. I stopped doing it at the end of the semester. There are 2 exams, and then the final. The final is not mandatory, if you like your class grade. She will drop your lowest exam score (even the final).

Comment:

Ms. Felter is really nice and accommodating, but she doesn't teach us how to use technology/calculators with stats well, which makes her tests much harder than they need to be. You really need to work to get an A in the class. However, she does drop the lowest test, so you just have to do well on two tests instead of three.

Comment:

First of all, she was hard for me to ask questions to. When I did, I felt like she was talking down to me. She assigns homework but never actually looks at it and if you don't pass her tests, your chances of passing the class aren't good. Not a chance in hell I would ever take her again.

Comment:

Professor Felter is the type to read off the slides and expect you what she is saying. You have to work for everything yourself because she will just repeat the things of her powerpoint. I had already taken Statistics in high school so this class was easy for me but for some of my friends it was extremely difficult. Just be ready to work!!!

Honestly, there are a lot of bad reviews on her for Felter, but I took her in Fall 2018 and I feel that she has improved based off of these comments. She is more open to answering questions during class and office hours. She lets you use a note card for all tests and lets you use your HW for quizzes. The quiz questions come from HW.

All she does is read off of her slides but it is so hard to learn what she teaches. Homework is not necessary but she gives homework quizzes every Monday. Midterms are hard and we have a group activity every Monday.

The professor gave us a weekly quiz and also most weeks we had a group assignment to finish. We had 3 exams that were pretty hard (better study and know your stuff), and I suggest you go to every lecture unless you don't want to pass. She can be challenging, but she is helpful when you come to her office hours (prepare to have specific questions).

Okay, I see a lot of horrible reviews and to be honest, I am not passing this class but I still like the teacher. I believe that she is fairly easy to talk to, but she is very unorganized and her grading is really-she really try to give you the most point as possible. Her lectures sucks though. I learned better on my own, and she is confusing.

This profesor is not good, she cant teach at all! When ever she lectures we have to correct her on everything. You pretty much have to teach yourself. Also you cant even understand her hand writing! The worst thing is that the exams contain nothing that she teaches us! Dont recommend!

Whenever you want to go talk to her in her office hours she has this rude vibe to why you are in her office. She belittles her students. I wouldn't recommend this professor to ANYONE!

You are basically on your own in this class. Online math with some teachers aid help. I like the class but the professor that runs all of the classes is kind of harsh. Could be a little nicer but all in all the class is great. It has helped me a lot and I would recommend it.

Awful, just awful. Not helpful at all, just sat behind her desk eating and looked annoyed when you came in during OFFICE HOURS, irritated if you don't understand the material, she may be good at math but not at TEACHING IT, big difference. you'll have better luck with the T.A.'s. Most people fail this class because it is very, very, poorly designed
