Extremely Rude! Marks you absent if you are only a couple of minutes late. Not very willing to help students who aren't doing well. Very critical on homework assignments and if they aren't done his way you will lose points. Please avoid!! Oh yeah and he can't play the piano to save his life everyone would crack up because of how badly he played.

Awful professor.He does not respect his students and does not consider their opinion if it does not match his. His ONLY redeeming quality is that he is very understanding when it comes to outside problems (health, family, etc)affecting your school work. He will do his best to make sure you don't get left behind.

i asked a question once and in so many words, he called me stupid. he should not be teaching, i don't care how smart he is. his people skills need to improve and he needs to understand that we are students, not theory scholars!

AWFUL professor. He just likes to hear the sound of his own voice. His piano playing make composers roll in their graves. Strict to his own deinition of "plagiarism" so be careful. He knows his stuff but cant cut it as a teacher. Id say get a tutor but there are none for his class, thats how difficult he is as a teacher/person.

By far the worst professor in the department aside from his wife. He never lets students figure things out and has no consideration for students, workload+time wise. He cant play piano to save his life. When we fail he blames us instead of his poor teaching abilities. This text isnt enough to show how bad of a professor he is. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Guy cannot play piano to save his life, which is very amusing to watch. It's clear that he knows what he's talking about, but it's hard to follow him sometimes. Homeworks are everything in this class, do them all and do them WELL. If not, your grade will suffer because of it. He is a sweet guy though and has a great sense of humor.

Dr. CInnamon obviously knows what he is talking about and is a master theoretician. However, he needs to bring the level down a couple of notches and actually teach what we are supposed to be learning, not just the theory that should make it work. Be prepared to work hard and be very conscientious of your work.

Not interesting at all. He makes the class more difficult than it has to be, by bringing in his ego and explaining everything in a round-about way. The material he covers can be learned in about 1 month if he would just teach. He also only respects common practice era european classical music. He needs to expand his views and learn to play piano.

sucks! he is nasty and mean! though, i do get a good laugh at him when he tries to play piano. he doesnt know how to teach, and has no respect for anything other than white western european classical music. he needs to expand his horizons, it will help his classroom.

I learned more in Form than any other class I had taken at Hofstra before it. Do independant work and try to do the readings, they help. If you DO do work with a friend, don't make it obvious. The people that got caught for that are dumb.
