I can proudly say that Hyung-Deok Shin is the best professor that I have met in my entire life. Some may despise him for being stricter than other professors but that doesn't, and shouldn't, mean that he is incompetent nor foul-tempered. The fact that he is Asian should never be a reason to insult him; he is the most reasonable and rational person.

Long and boring lectures. Very hard and tricky exams. Please be prepare to read the cases in the chapter every class because he will call on you... also pop quizzes....goodluck if you're taking him

All the information you have already gone over if you are a mgmt major which was good for me. But Acct and Fnan students had to do a lot more work. I respect the fact that he tried to make the class fun and intertaining but i regret not taking it with someone else.

Shame on the previous raters. Prof Shin is a great teacher. He makes the class interesting and fun. He grades fairly and provides plenty of detail to complete the assignments. He is very knowledeable and a pleasant man who works hard to help students understand the material. Definitely take him!

This class is so boring...Shin means well but the teaching isn't very clear. I took him his first semester teaching this class, so I'm sure it'll get better.
