Prepare to have about 4 quizzes per week (per lab, post lab, chapter quiz, homework quiz). It's a lot but in my opinion, he is giving you a lot of opportunities to get points. You need to go to class. The man is super smart & writes his whole lectures out on the chalkboard. Tests are hard so study & really make sure you know the info or you'll fail

Had to withdraw from this class. He gave us a quiz every single class and if you missed the class you got a zero- no makeups. The first test the highest grade was a 68 and he lectured us, comparing studying physics to professional figure skating. The labs were not difficult but very time consuming. More than half the class dropped, as did I. 30

Overall it is hard class. I took Winter session. Homeworks, labs and test are hard. But you read book and study well. You are going to be good. I got A-. Written assisgnment was easy. Some of the labs and tests questions are confusing. E-mail respond to professor very fast.

This professor is extremely clear and understanding. Anyone who says he can't teach well is just simply lazy, and they need to grow up. It's college. That being said, he explains everything slow enough to comprehend. There's A LOT of notetaking, which is the only downside. BUt if you take good notes, you'll do fine.

I thought the class was difficult but not unmanageable. He gives out a really good study guide before each test. my guess is, people crinkle it up in their notebook because you have to figure out the answers yourself and ask him questions if need be. people want to be babied and get every single answer. not going to happen here

Im taking this guy for an intro class and he is absolutely horrible. He teaches it like it is an advanced physics class and does not really care to emphasize. When asking him for clarification he is quick to dismiss/ignore you. I dont know if its his ego, but he shouldn't be teaching an intro class if hes such a genius.

He's a nice professor who tries to make sure you understand everything. Tests r kinda hard, quizzes every week, mid-term and a final. U have 2 go 2 lecture if you wanna pass the quizzes and lab gets out really early! Not a bad class

Labs only count as 15% and the other 85% sits on the exams. If your not a strong test taker this is horrible. He should be teaching the harder course cause he doesn't know how to make things simple. His tests are very tough and the wording of the questions is just a nightmare. Labs are a real pain. The course put me through alot of stress.

Ok.. all the previous raters must be complete losers. I took this during summer II, I filled a subject of a 3-subject notebook by 2 weeks into the class. Unless you're a science major, or very VERY good at math, do not take this class for any reason.

I thought he explained the subject as clear as day, very organized teaching style, makes things simple, he almost never, never goes off on totally off topic tangents and he helped me out a couple times. The labs were a breeze.

Assigns a LOT of work...a quiz AND homework due every class, plus one lab per week. Midterm was 3 hours long!!! However he is willing to answer any question and provide extra help, very fair.
