Fabulous teacher who truly cares. I was blessed to have had her for 1301 and 1302. She provides all the help you need and gives great feedback. I came out of her classes with a much better understanding on how to write papers.

Comment:

O'Neal is an amazing teacher! She truly cares about her students (at least the one's who actually try) and broadens your understanding of the English language and forces you to think critically about certain topics. In addition to the essays, she assigns journal papers for 100 credit (if you do them). Highly recommend.

Amazing teacher! If you show up and apply yourself you will do great. She gives amazing feedback and checks papers the week before you turn them in. Also gives you an outline to help.

Comment:

One of the best teachers Ive had, her lectures are easy to follow and her teaching style makes writing essays effortlessly. Rule of thumb for this class, ask her to look over rough drafts, dont get behind on journals. They bite you in the butt later!

Attendance is part of your grade and she does daily grades too. So if you miss a day you will probably miss a daily grade. Loved her lectures, shes definitely a sweet lady and gives great with feedback for your papers.

I'm not great with writing papers, and there are quite a few plus journals. you do use both books. she will help you when you ask, and she is very caring and always willing to help you with your papers during her office hours. she is very sweet and i definitely recommend her!

Awesome teacher. She gets writing isn't easy for some and does grade accordingly as well as effort. Counts daily grade, attendance, journals as well as essays. Journals are a easy grade you write on wide rule paper. Will help you in anyway but you have to ask. Will need books

I can say I took away alot from this course. She is a tough grader and makes you work for an A, but an A is attainable. Come to class everyday because you have a daily grade assignment that cannot be made up. Several papers that will need to be written, you can always go to her for help and she is very helpful with proof reading. I would take her

O'Neal is a great professor. There is a lot work in this class, but she gives ample time to get assignments completed. It is a challenging class, but Professor O'Neal is there to help the students who really want it.

Wonderful English Teacher. Her assignments are intensive, but she prepares you for a University level of writing. She grades fair, and is very concern with your success. Make lots of effort, and she will reward you later. Prepares you for Junior Literature class!

Pretty good teacher. Lots of work in the class. 4 essays, 36 handwritten journals, Research paper, and in-class work. If you work you can get an "A" but I would not call this an "easy class." Not the worst either though.

Ms O'Neal is very scatterbrained and does all her teacher in the last 20 minutes of class, so don't expect to get out early. She helps with your papers alot and is very lenient on duedates and all that. she makes you write 6 journals every 2 weeks so be prepared to write alot. overall a good teacher tho, she's very sweet.
