She is not a teacher. She is a researcher. If you take her class because you want to then you will be wasting your time. She is the worst teacher in NAS. She is frigid and non-caring for the students. Avoid her!!!!!

Comment:

The lectures were sometimes very interesting, other times I had trouble staying awake. The grading was fair and she outlines exactly what she expects on assignments. She didn't seem very approachable or personable to me, but she did tell some great corny jokes!

I found Dr. Kidwell's lectures to be interesting and engaging. She was very approachable and available outside class if I needed help understanding something. I did not detect any preferential treatment of Native American students and I am caucasian. Great class, excellent lecturer, fair grader. Highly recommend

Comment:

An ok lecturer. Loves her kiss up native american studies majors. Rather brusque in person. Class was a drag to attend, it didn't engage me in the way I'd hoped. I loved the readings.
