Comment:

Professor Battey is a very intelligent person and he really knows his stuff when it comes to biology. If you are unclear about something he doesn't seem to mind explaining it again or in a different way. He is VERY fair when it comes to grading test and especially labs and projects. Its not an easy A, but as long as you read you will be ok.

Dr. Battey is extremely unorganized. His tests are tough and he does not give study guides. He covers a lot of material and hardly any of it is ever on the tests. I don't know where he gets the questions from. He answers a question with a question. Overall I would rate him as a difficult professor.

Dr. Battey was an okay professor. He wasn't really clear about what would be on his test, which was aggravating. His lectures are boring, but if you don't pay attention you'll fail his test. Sometimes he'd go over something once, and then have 6 questions on it on one of the test. He's unorganized, but definitely a better choice than Dr. Bennekin.

Awesome professor!!!! His test are HARD, but you just have to STUDY. He have a voiceboard where he records the lecture in case you miss the class. He's very helpful and one of my favorite professors at GPC. Take him if your willing to learn and study. You won't regret! A+++

Comment:

Dr.Battey is an awesome teacher. Many students are upset that his tests are difficult but if you study for them you wont have a problem. We're in college here! He is helpful and you can go to him for clarity and help anytime. I love biology and enjoyed his passionate attitude for the subject. I highly recommend his class. I learned a lot, got a B!

This instructor is all over the place and very disorganized. He does not hand back grades in a timely manner. He does not go over material he feels you may have learned in a previous class. Pretty good easy going professor for lecture and lab. It's definately not the easiest class but you will pass his class if you try and put forth the effort. He definately help you if you need it.

Dr. Batter is awesome, definitely the best Biology professor at GPC. He's a really cool guy, and he tries to help you out best he can. Just pay attention in class, study for the tests, and do Mastering Biology, and you'll come out with an A! I did for BIOL 2107, and doing well with him teaching 2108 as well.

Great professor, Extremely helpful, like others have stated must study for tests but comes a lot from the notes he gives you. The slide shows are on line if you miss a class. Professor is very knowledgeable, maybe too much so sometimes gets distracted and leans off topic but is a great great professor.

He will go out of the way to help you. His classes are interesting. All Notes are on the internet. Labs are fun. Lot of information to remember. We went on two field trips. He is willing to work around your schedules. Just ask. He cares about his students and takes time with each person. I really enjoyed his class. Take him.
