Great and likeable professor, really enjoyed his class and the debates during class. Find the other ratings funny because of the reaction to the extremely rare conservative professor. Great class

Comment:
Professor Campbell is the most biased professor I've ever had, discussing mattes that are not relevant to the course. He makes many students extremely uncomfortable with his stances, and made innapropiate comments about the Kavanaugh scandle. I would not recommend taking this class, he is an unfair grader and tests are unfair.

Campbell is the man. yes he is a strong conservative, but that should not be frowned upon it is not fair to conservative students that he is the only one in the dep. tough on grades but he is a very smart man go to class and you will be fine. and if a liberal, challenge him he enjoys a good debate.

Comment:
The conservative prof thing is pretty bad, but he's a nice enough guy so you don't get the feeling it's malicious. Still, doesn't seem in step with liberals/young college students and not just in ideology, but teaching, way of thinking, etc. Not a deep thinker, tests are very mindless ask q's about obscure stats/trivial info. Disappointing class

Comment:
ULTRA-CONSERVATIVE... which is like seeing a dragon as a professor. That being said he is just really boring. Teaches his own models about presidential success which when picked apart are really bias. He expects you to know esoteric details about the models and is just overall boring. Nice guy nonetheless.

Professor Campbell is a great professor who knows he's stuff and teaches it in a clear and cohesive manner. He does assign a lot of reading materials but he covers it well in class. However, you still need to read to get an A on exams. He curves the exams nicely too.I would take another class with him. I took both PSC 306 and 344 with Prof Campbell

worst teacher ive ever had. he reads surveys with statistics during class. most boring teacher ive ever had. assigned so much reading (which i studied for his exam(s)) that wasn't even tested. his test questions are more like "which pres. was rated last in the "X" survey?" and not "who was president during "Y" event?" -not a test of your knowledge.

Great professor, exams are fair and not too hard. Funny sense of humor, he looks like a lumberjack in the photo on the back of his book. Needs to learn how to use a comb though.

Excellent teacher. Tests are easy if you do the reading and go to class. Multiple choice, straitforward answers. Take his classes! Also nice to hear some a teacher who doesn't have the disease of American Liberalism.

Liberal professors that preach to the choir irritate me, so it was nice to have a change of pace with Professor Campbell's conservatism.
