the prof is not as clear as his student who taught two classes for him. exams are very easy and you have a lot of chance to get bonus grades. recommend it.

For 2 of the tests we were able to use our book but for one we were only able to use one sheet of paper front and back. These items are helpful but you still must know the material really really well. He expects you to read the entire chapter (which are really long) and know everything about it before coming to class. Goes through material too fast

got A from his corporate tax class. However, not because he taught well, it's because I spent all spare time on reading by your own. He supposes you read and know everything prior to his class which is impossible. He is not clear for definition and just throw out the tax rules and tell you how to apply. His test is not hard though.

3 exams with additional assignments for grading. DO NOT TAKE. I have never made anything lower than a B in all of my ACCT courses until now.Tests require hard core understanding of materials.Prof has no patience for teaching students wanting to Really understand the materials.rude/impatient to students who ask questions.Side track half the time

He is a decent teacher. He can be funny in his lectures, but outside of class, if he doesn't know who you are, he is a jerk. He doesn't like people who do not understand the material. Overal I was not happy with his class. Take Newman or Meade.

Dr. Pratt is a great professor and makes the subject exciting. As others have said on here, he can get upset if you ask to many questions during class, but he is very clear so questions won't be needed.

Not an easy course but a good teacher. He expects students to have read the chapter before his lecture so he gets frustrated when the haven't. I am waiting a semester just so I can take corporate tax with him.
