The class was very fastpaced. Missing 1 class can be the difference between passing or failing because of how intense the classes are. If math isn't your strong suite consider doing the 3-day per week class rather than the 2-day per week class and don't skip!

At the time of registering i didn't know about this site. All i can say is i wish i would have. SO MUCH HOMEWORK its overwhelming. When she lectures she makes it pretty clear, but to be honest my mom has had to help teach me everything and re learn it herself to be able to explain it to me better than Jan could. She's nice, just needs some work.

I withdrew from this class, mainly because of the new structure Inver had set up for new students in math that was outrageous! Kamp was over-all a good professor. As someone who DISLIKES math very much, she made it pretty clear. She is pretty set in her ways, and doesn't always make things clear, but if you as then you will get answers.

She is very helpful and I really learned a lot. Make sure you do the class work, quizzes meaning dont miss lectures and you will do well in her class. I really enjoyed this class and i am taking 820 with her next semester.

Jan Kamp is an excellent, amazing and kind teacher! She is so very helpful with any students who are struggling. She has good structure and her ways of teaching are very easy to learn and understand!!! My favorite teacher so far! :D

She is not very easy to talk to. She comes of very condesending when you ask questions. I had to miss 4 classes in a row because of a family crisis and she wouldnt let me make up the quizes or homework plus she made me take the chapter test the day I got back without any knowledge of the chapter. I am never taking another class with her again.

although there is a lot of work in her class she is a very good teacher. i have never had so much homework in my life but she teaches it really well. if you are going to take her you have to go to class. if you dont you are not going to do well unless you are like a super math genius.

She is one of the best teachers i have ever known. Yes she is hard but if you want to learn math, be in her class. I was bad at math and had anxiety toward math but she made me feel that i can be an Engineer or smarter than Sahra Palin..

I took math 0096 with her. I have a natural affinity towards math and was able to follow her teaching method just fine. If this weren't the case, I do think I would be lost. After missing a class, went to her office to get caught up and instead of getting an overview or explanation was handed "the green folder" and told to copy the notes.

Okay seriously I SUCKK at math and she made everything 100 times worse. She's super hard to follow and goes really fast so if you don't learn it while she's teaching it, you're screwed. She tries to be funny which is actually kind of entertaining but if you are bad at math to begin with DROP THiS TEACHER! I'm serious!!!!!

She is one of the most amazing Math teachers I have ever had. She makes the material easy to grasp and also uses a course back to follow along with. Great for going back to review and study from. She tries really hard to be funny which in turn is hilarious. IGNORE THE BAD REVIEWS!
