this woman is hilarious. after taking this class i am considering majoring in sociology, or at least minoring. shes loud, she swears, and she will pound anything you need to know into your head. not for the weak hearted.

Heidi Coar is without a doubt one of the most unforgettable(in a good way) and influential teachers I've ever had. She really challenged my view of the world, and opened me up to new possibilites that I never really gave any consideration to before. Highly recommend her class, but be open with the content she teachers, and her opinions as well.

Ms. Goar, is the proper address for Heidi, she will chew your head off if you call her otherwise. She is a great prof. Having socialistic tendancies however, is a plus... but why would you have any other outlook? She is feisty and fun, I had a crush on her by the end of the class.

She brought politics into this class and it was hard to understand because of it. Unless you take politics first, you'll never get through this class with higher than a B. She is very weird; made mention that she refused to shave her legs and pits because she doesn't want to be like everyone else.

She is very crazy and liberal. If it is hard for you to bite your toung this is not a class for you. She has no problem yelling "your wrong" when you answer a question wrong. I did learn a lot but i did not like the class much because i never wanted to answer a question wrong and get embarrassed,

Good teacher however extremely liberal (most sociology teacher are). Her class was interesting and fun. I do not like that she brought politics into the classroom though. and its Ms. Goar not Mrs. Goar...unless you want to get yelled at!
