I love her, I couldn't pass math so I couldn't graduate, but the way she teaches is simple and easy to understand math. I would definitely take it again and again. there's is a lot of HW but if you turn it all in you will go up a grade.

She's wonderful and takes the time to explain things so that they make sense to everyone and won't leave anyone behind. She''s caring and understands if you miss a few classes as long as you turn in the HW. Theres no book but you do have to buy mathlab for like 40$. Wish I could take her for all my math classes! You won't regret taking her.

Absolutley the BEST and most caring math teacher I've ever had! The class has zero judgement. No question is a dumb question. If you struggle in math, TAKE HER! I never had confidence in math, but thanks to her I now have it. She doesn't move on to the next lesson until you understand. Be sure to do the homework or you will fall behind.

I am currently taking Prof. Frewing in Spring 2018 and all I have to say is that she is an amazing professor. She really cares about her students, takes the time to go over every little possible thing, lets you know well ahead of time when the tests are and there is always a group portion to the tests to help everyone out. All in all, TAKE HER!!!!!

I took Professor Frewing for Calculus 1A and she is an excellent teacher. While there is a lot of homework and notes to take, she makes sure you understand the material before you leave. Do not miss a single day of class or you will definitely fall behind. DO NOT wait until last minute to start on hw bc I can guarantee you won't finish in time.

One of the best teachersI have ever had. Makes sure all the students understand n is very patient. Very sincere n caring n fun, really creative. Also fellas she is older but she looks like a fitness model, she use to coach track. She inspired me this semester, n taught me I can be a great math student. Sometimes lecture runs 5 Min after the bell

Why don't you teach upper level math. We need a professor like you teaching the harder math classes. She explains so well, her classes material is so easy to understand, she goes above and beyond helping her students and makes sure everyone understands the material. I totally recommend her especially to those who need in-depth explanation to learn

Comment:

Frewing is amazing at breaking down Calculus so that a person with average math skills can understand. Quizzes every week, lots of homework, and labs. Attendance is IMPORTANT. She gives extra credit opportunities and drops the lowest quiz. I had tried to take Calculus before and failed because the professor was horrible. Frewing is a gem.

I had Mrs. Frewing for Math 25 (Survey of Math) fall 2017 and her teaching is all around amazing. Easy class to pass with take-home quizzes and little amount of homework. She'll even take the time to go over the homework in class with you and answer any questions. I would definitely take the class again.

Frewing really knows her math and teaches it well! Quizzes were take home, the internet helps and the notes taken in class! All homework is due the day you turn in a quiz, extra is given too! Midterm was a bit difficult BUT she allowed us to do test corrections which was also take home. The final is a speech of your hobby & show how math is involve

This was my second time taking Frewing. She's a great professor who knows math well, & knows how to explain it even better. From basic arithmetic to calculus, she's simply the best! She's very caring and wants to make sure that everyone is on the same page without leaving anyone behind. 4 exams, homework, plus a quiz almost every class.

Love her! Gives print out notes and explains things so well, I wish every math teacher was like her! Many quizzes but for good reason, and they arent that hard, grades the homework but its not that bad, final worth 25% and she grades with partial credit. Offers extra credit on tests and quizzes, usually you can miss 5pts and still get 100%

Frewing is an amazing professor. She takes the time to answer any questions if you don't understand. Her lectures are informative and she adds youtube videos just incase she can't answer your question. During labs she takes the time to answer your questions, even if its an hour after class is over. Does everything she can to help everyone pass.

Janet is such a great instructor. I hated math before I took her class but now I love it. The way she teaches is amazing, she breaks all the problems down for you so you can understand it better. She always goes over homework. Never hold back on asking questions she really wants to help you succeed.
