Worst professor I've ever had. Extremely disorganized, digresses a ton, and never has a clear structure for class. It's a writing class but there was never any clear criteria she wants. Wants you to write in her perspective, corrects paper based on her opinion. Sings in the middle of classe for no reason. At least has opportunity for extra credit.

She seems nice and funny at first, but she is just a tough grader and very disorganized. You have to write papers in her perspective rather than yours. doesn't want to read our long papers so she canceled the final paper. wanted us do a multi-modeling stuff but 3 weeks later canceled it. A great portion of your grade comes from useless quiz.

Hard professor! if you miss class she doesn't help you understand the assignment you missed. Even though you go to her for help, very unclear. Tells every student a different thing. Tough to understand what she wants from the assignments. Avoid her class if you. If you do end up with her, get on her good side ASAP

I dont understand why her score is only 3.6... which is same as Pro. Applebaum. No affense to other professor. But to be honest, she deserves a score as 4.5! she is so funny and interesting and nice and omg perfect!!! I wrote two paper the whole semester and that's it! 3 hours lecture is surprisingly not boring at all!! I felt so sad when it ended

Take her! her class was interesting and fun, she likes those who participate a lot. No finals. 5 short essays, a lot of quizzes but they are easy. She also gives extra credits. Easy A. Attendance is mandatory and don't come in late.

Short readings, 3-4 pages papers,one poem presentation +easy quizzes. Professor Lawrence makes her class interesting, uses different text materials(stories, plays, poems, magazines). Do all the readings,come to class and you will be fine. Not boring at all. Take her!

This is a useless class.She has a terrible personality, she complains all the time about her childhood and unsuccessful life.Sometimes she will talk really nasty and inappropriate things.And trust me, she will give you a lower grade that you deserve.She will pick 1 or 2 favorites and will disregard you completely.You WILL NOT IMPROVE your English.
