Dr. Bjorklund is a very knowledgeable man. He really knows what he is talking about but sometimes I feel like he doesn't know how to explain it in more simple terms. His tests are all fill in the blank and short answer basically but he gives a lot of partial credit. He is always available and willing to help no matter what!

You'll learn more from the book than him. Great guy, but his lectures don't contain a whole lot for the exams. Lots of tangents about nothing, lots of flirting with Prof Petersen in class. If attendance didn't count I wouldn't go to class.

He is definitely one of my favorite professors. He has allowed me more time and given me extensions when life has happened. I have never met a more personable professor when it comes to his expectations. He is ALWAYS available, I don't even know when his office hours are, because he's always ready to help. The downside, organic chemistry is HARD.

My favorite professor here at NCC, probably the smartest guy I know, and he's always willing to help if you don't understand a concept or just talk if you want to hang out. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

The finest professor in my entire time at North Central College. Absolutely inspiring, funny, smart as hell, and 100% dedicated to student progress. An open door policy like none other, and he is ALWAYS around. A passion for chemistry and science. Clear, concise, and the fairest grader. Serious about learning about chemistry? Take Dr. B!

I had CHM 141 with both him and Prof Peterson. Bjorklund is a really nice guy and if you ask for help he takes time to explain the material to you. He's very enthusiastic about chemistry & can sometimes go off on tangents, but all the tests contain material they suggest you go over in the book. Don't take them lightly though, you need to study!!

Had him for all three organic classes and enjoyed him as a professor. He's a little crazy but still a fun guy. The subject is difficult so try your best to do well first term because that's the foundation for the rest! His partial credit can save grades believe me and do the practice exam before the ACS exam 3rd term! Great professor.

Dr. B is the quirkiest teacher i have ever met. he is awsome. and knows what he is talking about. he is all about letting us do things on our own and letting us find out what happens. he always seems to dissappear right when you need him. but we do indeed live and die by partial credit!
