Professor Hall is one cool dude. He's an awesome person and if you meet with him during office hours he really knows how to explain things well on a 1 to 1 level. Sometimes the lectures aren't clear, and he moves pretty quick through the problems from the powerpoint. He does start every class with "Does anyone have any questions?" which is helpful.

Comment:

Professor Hall is an awesome guy who is funny, down-to-earth, and very approachable. This discussion based class is super straight-forward. There are regular reading assignments, and the occasional paper. However, if too many classes are canceled, assignments/projects may get backed up and pushed on you all at once.

I did an independent study with Professor Hall over the summer, he was super chill the whole time. Pre-calculus is a pre-requisite for Physics so he really just showed me the stuff I'd need to know for physics. He's good at explaining things so just ask questions when you have issues.

Learned A LOT in this class, definitely helped me for sure. He is super funny and makes the time go by fast, but also takes time to make sure you're doing okay with the homework. He does care about completing things on time, so be sure to do that.

Nice human being who I get along with well and would probably enjoy the company of outside of class. That said, how can he be called a professor? I would say he's a babysitter. He leaves a CPU program to teach us. If this isn't conducive to your learning style, too bad. I left his course feeling like I had money stolen from me and learned nothing.
