Dr. Singfield was an excellent Chemistry professor. She was very clear in her explanations, and always paraphrased when asked a question regarding lecture material, instead of regurgitating what she had already said. She gave a weekly assignment, and a 10 minute quiz. If you stay on top of your readings, and attend class, you should do okay.

She's approachable and wants to help you but she does not make it easy for you whatsoever. Her workload is incredibly heavy. She keeps throwing assignments and quizzes which puts a lot of pressure on the students. She needs to take it easy on her students a little bit.

Love this professor. Have her now; she is so helpful. She is even willing to help when it is not her office hours and she is just being stopped in the hall by students. By far the most approachable prof at smu. She actually -CARES- about her students.

If you have a choice, take the class with someone else. This woman is one of the worst profs I've ever had, and over the semester has gotten worse. Most of the things she teaches are wrong, so following along with the textbook was a good idea. If told she is wrong, she won't correct the slides or let the other students know either.

Her class is really difficult. The midterm was easy, but the final was really tough. Lots of homework! Boring lectures, but she's really nice and will help you if you need it!

Dr. Singfield is a good prof if you want an easy A just study. However if your there for a real education take someone else's course. The other class was continuously a head of us and also covered more of the text and examples. A part from that it is an easy A if you try. But not worth it if you want to learn.

Great prof. Does lots of examples and is very clear in her explanations. She is also very attractive. BUT, she is the SLOWEST MARKER EVER. She takes FOREVER to post final grades which is frustrating, much longer than any other prof I have had.

One of the best chemistry classes I've had. Dr. Singfield is a great professor, does plenty of examples, and is a very fair marker. Pay attention, do the assignments/practice questions and you will do great.

Dr. Singfield is a wonderful professor who all first year's should take. Doesn't make it easy, lot of work and midterm is no joke, but if you read ahead, do your OWN assignments and quizes, then you should be able to get an A- at least. Midterm usually conists of one 7/10 difficulty question from each unit covered.

Great prof! If you go to class and ask her questions about anything you dont understand she will help you until you know the material inside out and backwards! Labs were great. Her midterm and exam is extremely fair and she gives you fair warning about the material with her review sheets. Hard, but very good prof

She's one of the reasons i'm a chem major. She's hard but fair and if you're a slacker you won't like her. She teaches like a university prof should by not holding your hand the whole way but she is always willing to help. She expects you to read on your own but not to teach yourself everything. Great prof!

Not very good at teaching anything really, not really approachable, weekly quizzes are way too difficult. Fairly attractive though :P
