my favorite quote - "If everyone makes a mistake, then we have 120 mistakes. That's kinda a problem" I had him in Philadelphia for an ACDA honor choir and have never worked with a better director. He's just an incredible man, and if anyone has the chance to work with him, I whole heartedly recommend it.

kind of a horse's patoot, but could justify the behavior with skill and know-how. I learned alot from this man, partially because he was a good teacher, and partially from fear of humiliation. "Feel free to be in tune... come in on time... sing without causing mass vomiting" I still quote him while teaching my choirs! J. Blackstone, Here's to you!
