I have always gotten As in all of my previous english classes. I don't mind writing papers and doing homework. This class was difficult. Her tests are worth lots of points and are VERY hard. She does not give study guides. I managed to get Cs after reading the book many times. She is not very clear on what she wants for the final capstone project.

This class actually makes you work for your grade, not float by like I did in high school. She gave great feedback not improve papers and made sure she helped every students in the short time we had in class. She pushed deadlines back if she saw us struggling and that we needed more time.

If you have gotten A's in all your English classes in high school, than you take an English class with this teacher, you will think again! No matter how hard my class & I try, we never know what grade to expect on our papers, she is not clear about anything & if English is one of your strongest subjects you may reconsider after taking class w/ her!

I am really sorry to see so many people who do not want to have to earn their grades. Dr. Wright was my first instructor in 15 years in the worst subject for me to take. I worked hard .. I asked for a lot of help.. and guess what?? I received what I EARNED. ENG 110 - A ENG 111 - A.. both with Dr. Wright.

Dr. Wright is by no means easy,but if you do what is asked of you and at least try in her class she is more than willing to help you with anything you are struggling with.People do not give her a chance.I took her for a mini and we had 25 people,15 dropped after the 1st day because they did not want to have to work for their grade.U'll learn w/her

Dr. Wright is tough, no doubt about it. However, if you show that you are working in you will do fine. I am a non traditional student and did better than I thought I would because I asked questions and showed that I was trying. Even though I have been out of her class for quite sometime, she will still help me if I ask. She's cute too.

Great teacher! I hate writing and was scared to take this class. She comes off like she's mean but as long as you try, she is there for you and willing to help you get through the class. I had a problem with another teacher and she was there to get me through it.

Seriously!!! Take anyone else and if, by chance, you do enroll in her class..DROP IMMEDIATELY! I am a "non-traditional" student and I know what is expected of me. I never miss class and do my work, however, she is extremely vague and does not offer any help to those who ask. She may be a nice person, but not a good teacher!

Most likely all of the people who have left comments so far have not yet realized they are in COLLEGE. I had no problem understanding her and when I didn't understand something I ASKED her, like your supposed to. She was always very, very helpful when I asked her about assignments and with some effort I got an A.

You people are all whiny morons! Did you believe the stories that you heard about ICC; that it's only an extension of high school?! Welcome to college! Dr. Wright is very thorough and does not teach an easy class. She is, however, extremely helpful to those that actually put forth some effort. Want an "A"? Gotta work for it.

Please listen to all the comments and avoid this woman. I took a lit 110 minimester and it is by far the hardest class I have ever taken. I'm a straight A student & i think ill be lucky to pass her course. She expects way to much and can never be pleased no matter how hard you work. Tons of writing. EXTREMELY VAGUE & UNCLEAR!!

Dr. Wright is a fair teacher. If you spend the time on the work, you will recieve a fair grade. If you enroll in her class because you need the credit, you may be in for a surprise!
