Comment:

Worst professor I have ever had, and the worst person I have ever met. Classes are too fast to keep up in, and when you ask questions or go to office hours he is a jerk to you if you don't get it the first time. He is the only teacher, on any level, that I have had problems with.

Possibly the toughest class at Franklin. In regards to the passfaildrop rate in this class he says the first day "Half of you wont make it to spring break". Couldn't be more true. Definitely have accounting prior and don't be a student athlete along with a heavy credit hour semester. LOTS of studying. Great prep and learning if you can get thru

Comment:

A very hard teacher who does not explain anything more than once. If you don't get it right away and in a very fast manner you will be wa behind. Any answer that is not right is in his mind "approximate knowledge" which is untrue. He just teaches so much at a fast pase it's almost impossible.

Take it from a student over 10 years removed from Jim Williams classes. If you pay attention and work hard you can do well. A B is hard to get and an A even harder, but worth it. The lessons you learn in his Business Classes will stick with you for the rest of your life in the real world.

If you just keep up with class, you'll do ok. Make sure that you remember accounting, though.He doesn't have much patience for people who don't work, but will really help people who are involved & want to work.

The failure rate in this class the first time is around 50%. The material is not easy unless you know just about ever aspect there is to business. The Professor is often a jerk and borderline schizophrenic. I seriously dislike this professor.
