I love this professor. You need to keep an open mind bc he will challenge your beliefs regardless of where you stand, but if you do the work and are honest he will revolutionize the way you understand the world. He is a little quirky, there is no doubt about that, but he is certainly the smartest man I've ever had the pleasure to interact with.

oh my god...it was a horrible experience with this guy. The most boring professor you can ever have. He has really strange beliefs which is really bad when you realize that there's no class discussion, at all. Just sit there and take notes, there's nothing in your control really, it's all up to his mood at the time of grading. TFAS...not that good.

I LOATHE HIM. He's not even a real Georgetown prof but tries to act like one. He's terrible=no wonder he teaches at Catholic and not Gtown. He will grade hard for not writing neatly and not repeating his verbatim on the essays. Plus he's BORING and will teach the same thing EVERY CLASS. Also, the Fund for American Studies is not worth your time/$.

Rants on about Rousseau endlessly and redundantly. Brushes off any interesting comments/questions that may threaten his theories. You'll get nowhere as far as learning anything interesting, but if you can make it through his lectures, he's pretty easy.
