Comment:

Very intense. She is a Tough grader and is very unclear when providing assignments and speeches. HOMEWORK! She can be very specific on assignment criteria but never clearly informs students of the specifications. Yells often in class at the students. No office hours. She moves extremely fast in lectures. She can be caring if you ask for help.

Honestly extremely disappointing. I calculated my own grade the way she told us to and calculated an A-, she gave me a B and when I asked her about it told me that I should've been given a C.... very confused and frustrated. Interrupts students during their speeches and doesn't listen to your opinions. Don't take her lol.

Love this prof. Dedicated to her job and students. Never have a problem meeting with her after class. She told me she was kidding about the mahjong. What she really does is tutor an english as second language student. Its her service to St. Johns. No payment fo4 it.

She claims there are worse professors out there that teach this course, but shes too prideful to admit shes one of them. She wont give any feedback to work on. One of the most condescending, strenuous, unsympathetic professors I have ever encountered. You will put more work into this class than your own major. If there is a God hes abandoned us

Shes one of the most difficult professors to work with. Your opinion means nothing to her. You will have to put an extensive amount of unreasonable work that she gives. Even when you get the work done she will criticize your work and practically fail you. If you have something wrong she will use you as an example. Never take her course

Unfortunately, she has been one of the most condescending and difficult administrators I have ever had the gall to sit in front of. You may be able to answer every point to an assignment and spend copious amounts of time drafting only for her to swiftly contest your work indisputably. This feels sort of demoralizing, especially for a core class.

AVOID HER She thinks she knows more than anyone. She will treat the students like children, Never has she stayed after class and mentions she has to go play Mahjong after class. I respect my elders but when she constantly interrupts you during speeches, gets in your face and yells at you if you have any problems that she wont help. Please AVOID HER

Prof. DAndrea is awesome! Caring, dedicated professional who is dedicated to her students. She is St. Johns. Makes speech class a lot less scary and provides clear guidelines and support! I am thankful I had the opportunity to take this class with her!!
