Sharma didn't do a good job teaching this course. He didn't cover all the material on syllabus and his exams were tough. Some of the exam topics were barely discussed in class. Sometimes can't hear other students questions. He also gives out an ACS final that he didn't prepare us well for. Overall, the class was a joke.

I had Professor Sharma for two courses one biochemistry and the other for Organic Spectroscoy. I would say that the material brought to the student, the first day in biochemistry is overwhelming which turns me off - better to use BB, instead. But I would encourage to not be bothered with this. Dr. Sharma is a brilliant scientist & spectroscopist.

Very unclear. Very smart, but I think his days of teaching should be done with. It's clear that he doesn't have the energy to continue to teach. He just babbles on and on. Breaks only last about 5 minutes and he has a habit of letting students out of class late.

Nice man, but it's time to retire. If the university cares at all about its students, they would make him retire. The curve doesn't help if nobody is learning anything. Just a big waste of time and my money.

lock him in a room for a week and he'll come up with some nobel prize winning stuff, but put him in a class room and you'll have half a dozen suicidal students. he's smart but is not easy to comprehend sometimes and once fell asleep grading my paper. When I got it back it had a red blotch stain from his pen smearing across it during his nap!

Sharma isn't nearly as bad as people make him out to be. He is crazy and old, but he's a hell of a nice guy. He just wants the students to learn, hence the huge curve on the final grades. If you go to class and look at the book you'll do fine.
