Wonderful professor. Class is challenging but will make your writing improve tenfold. Highly recommended, extremely easy B but pretty difficult A. Attendance is mandatory or you will fail. She will work with you and help you more than you can imagine. You will write 40 or so pages over the semester.

Eng103 was by far my most difficult class of the semester. If you feel confident with your writing, I recommend taking this class. I had to work extremely hard to earn an A, but I feel extremely accomplished. Jo Ann is a wonderful person and teacher, just make sure to ask questions if you feel lost.

DO NOT PICK THIS TEACHER! Try to avoid whole-heartedly. She is extremely bitter and thinks her class is the most important thing in the world. She is a witch; intimidating, and judgemental for no reason. Very unclear with directions. I typically love english and writing but she instilled a little bit of hate after having her as a professor.

Professor Dadisman's English 103 class will teach anyone how to effectively write a good essay. However, don't expect this class to be a cakewalk; you have to write an average of 3 pages per night. I recommend this class for any student wanting to kill 2 birds (Eng 101 and 102) with one stone.

Professor Dadisman is an excellent teacher- I had her for an english folklore class. A lot of kids slack off, and she can get testy with them, but pay attention and you'll be fine. Expect a huge semester project- kept the class fun, cancelled a lot. Show her respect and be respected.

I had this lady for American Folklore. At first, the class seemed interesting and she seemed ok. But after a little while she got really annoying and was just kinda weird. She had a very snoody attitude and kind of acted like her class was the most important thing in the world. I would not recommend this class from her, it is really annoying.

Prof. Dadiesman is a great professor. Sometimes she is a little unclear about what she wants, but I think that is because she doesn't want her students confined to any kind of restraints. I totally recommend her class. I enjoyed her 101 class so much I'm taking her 102 class.

This woman is obsessed with Appalachia, and teaches it instead of English. She is VERY unclear about what is due. Wear overalls every day and talk like a hick and you're guaranteed an A. Stay AWAY from this class.

Prof. Dadisman is a genuinely nice lady. Sometimes she is a tad unclear about what she expects, but she's always willing to answer questions. For her Eng. 101H, your papers do not have to be perfect, but you have to show effort. Come to class, and make significant revisions to your papers. Approach the class with a good attitude, and you'll be fine

Bad teacher! She might be good for an appalachia class but not 102. all your topics are on appalachia (boring) and she is so unclear about what she wants and expects. Your final presentation has to be over 7 mins but under 10 mins or you get points taken of. She's unreasonable and horrible! I mean, it's a 100 level course not a 200 or 300!

WORST ENGLISH TEACHER I'VE EVER HAD. The ratings above are deceptive. Her grading is far too strict to form (ie: unaccepting of other valid forms of essay) for an English professor. We read nine stories and 66% of the exam was just one of the stories.
