Comment:

Great professor! You have to explain what is going on, you work with a group on really tough problems. I'll admit, didn't like it at first but the homework is a BREEZE after sitting in his class. You learn a ton but you may not realize this at first. Not a typical class at all. Why all math isn't taught this way is beyond me.

Overall a great Professor! I had him for Calc 2 which is not an easy class, but he definitely made it less gruesome. He will answer any question you have with enthusiasm and you get the feeling that he really loves what he is doing. Group work is practically mandatory during class, and you are only graded on 4 things included a take home midterm.

I had him for Calc 1. Yeh hes tough but it's calculus. He met with me a few times outside of office hours ('cause the other times didn't work). Without that, I wouldn't have done so well. He really helps but you cant be a sloth. Ask for help. I got a B but worked for it!

he marks off too many points from exams but you can easily argue your points back.. double check your scores cause he has made mistakes. Unfair with grading exams and most of the lectures he does not know what he is talking about seemed confused. next time I will find another teacher for math

Just shady and what he told us to study for the exams were not on the exams, definitely was mislead. I felt like my rights as a student were not respected by him when I asked him additional help or if I explained my way of learning the material. he gets angry if YOU ask specific questions on a problem and I am good at calculus.

Loved this class. He gives lots of time and space to solve problems and we talk about them once someone in the class has solved it. You truly learn the stuff by doing problems. Unlike other math classes I've taken. Gives a take home midterm too and participations counts for a ton of your grade. Really like this class.

If you want to take a class where you have to teach yourself 100% using other resources and feel like attending class is pointless and not helpful and receive no directions or guidance, then I say take this class with him. Would not recommend this teacher for teaching period. I found online websites and videos to be productive and helpful.

My math skills improve because of him. He is a very good teacher. He explains things well and deeply. I am sure you will have some deep comprehension after taking Calculus with him. I wish he teaches CAL III. Sometimes he does, but he often teach CAL I and CAL II. I recommend you should take him if you are aimed to major in Engineering. Good Luck!

This teacher is really good. He teaches very clearly and will answer any question you have. He set up his office time right after my class with him and you can go there for extended help if you need it! Great teacher, but don't miss a class because he goes over a lot of material every day.

I took his online class. It's actual really good. Theres notes, videos, discussion, etc. It is very well structured and organized. The important thing is not to fall behind. Stay on the suggested schedule and you will learn a lot.

Excellent teacher, this guy knows his stuff! One of the best teachers I've ever had for a Calculus course. When in doubt, ask a question. He will make sure you understand the material! A+++ will recommend.

He is an awesome teacher. Its Calculus; it will be freaking hard no matter with whom you take it with. You NEED to do the hw for every section. Its not mandatory for him or a grade but this is the only way to practice. PRACTICE PRACTICE! you cant get past any Calc class without practicing. Nabb rocks. He is very clear and understandable
