Math is the subject I hated the most, but I actually learned and enjoyed his class. He made it easy and made sure we understood the content. Also a very understanding professor, always understood when I couldn't make it for personal reasons even on exam days. Such a nice guy. I like math a little more now. If you need the credit, take his class!

Dr. Foulkes is AMAZING! I feel prepared to enter Calculus after taking this course. Extremely knowledgeable, provides study guides to help you for the exams. Homework can be a bit heavy with a combination of regular homework and MML. Always available if you need help. If you suffer from math anxiety, don't worry. You will have confidence in the end

Professor Foulkes is very knowledgeable about statistics and seems to explain extremely difficult topics in much simpler terms. I thoroughly enjoyed this class and would definitely take a class with him again. He is straightforward and will never test you on things that you didn't learn, review, or discuss in class.

I loved this professor! Very clear to understand and you will learn if you pay attention and put in good effort! Gives great study guides exactly like the tests which help amazing. Uses mylabplus but got away with a B in the class without purchasing it and doing any of the lab homeworks!!

MLP + 3 in-class tests +11 assignments + a final project. It's a LOT - BUT he was very lenient w/ grading and goes out of his way to help you pass, WITH a good grade I might add. Ended up w/ a 79.31 and he rounded to a B as my final grade. Develop a relationship w/ him and he will truly care about you and want you to succeed in the class.

I love this professor! I had him for college algebra and trigonometry and I highly recommend him. I got a B in this class but would have gotten an A if I just did the mathlab homeworks which are 10%. (mathlab too expensive for me) You have to attend this class to keep up with the material but professor is great teacher and easy to learn from.

I really enjoyed professor Foulkes for MAT 142. His study guides were very similar to the exams and he would throughouly go over everything that would be on tests. Highly recommend!

I love Dr. Foulkes, He is very helpful and wants his students to success, i took pre calc. in summer, it was really tough he made it so easy. exams are just like homework, he gives u review for final which really helped a lot. he also goes over homework in class if anyone has any question, i will jump on his class again if he teaches calc 1. best

Professor Foulkes is crystal clear in his teaching. His lectures are really interesting and fun to listen to. Didn't really need the book because he explained everything so well. Also, he is very approachable, encourages questions in class, and answers emails quickly. He goes through homework thoroughly so you are really prepared. Take him!

Awesome teacher. Really didn't like math but he made it pretty easy. Very clear with his instructions. If you show up and do the hw you will get a good grade. I would definitely try to get him as a professor again.

Professor Foulkes really cares about his students. In our online class, when we have questions about the homework, he writes out the explanation, scans it, and e-mails the help we need. Not an easy A, because it's Calculus, after all. If you want to pass with a good grade, he is the professor for you.

Loved his class, im one that is terrible at math and had to drop the course in the previous semester, he gives you notes that will help you with the homework and tests, he goes over the review before every test and helps with homework for 10 mins each class sometimes more. If you do the homework and review his little notes he gives you. you'll pass

Hardest pre-nursing course in my life! The class is super hard but take him for a chance at a decent grade. He's so helpful with students. Final grade is 4 exams, term project (can work in groups), mymathlab hw, and 9 portfolio assignments. If you make Cs on your exams and do your assignments, you can get out with a B or low A.

He was an awesome teacher the only thing I hated was the fact he had tons of work. We had assignment portfolios due each week , than there were my math lab homeworks, and a term project that your suppose to do through out the semester along with his lectures. His test review before the test was similar to the tests, so that was good.
