A really good professor. Most grades you receive are participation points. About 4 different essays throughout the semester. Aren't difficult if you work hard and write thoughtful things. One group presentation at the end of the semester. A relatively easier class.

A very nice teacher. He is very approachable for anyone to ask for help if you are unclear of something. Easy quizes and tests read a few articles and slide shows. NO textbook needed. Gives you all the resources you need for your papers. He's felixable with papers and gives the whole class extra days if asked.

He is a great professor. He gives students 5 quizzes and a midterm and final. This class is very informative if u want to work in tv or radio. He gives multiple extra credit opportunities too. He is a very nice and fair professor. Also there are a few projects, that are not that hard.

He is also an advisor, to which I have to say is the worst advisor I have ever dealt with. Lazy work ethic, will not go out of his way for the student. Slow to respond. Barely cares so info from him is often incorrect. If a student acted this way they would be lectured about how he/she wouldn't make it in the real world yet these are our "mentors".

Online class- easiest 3 credits I have ever taken at Towson. Offers extra credit weekly. Only 4 abstract papers that are a half page, 2 exams, and 1 paper. Easy grader. Definitely take for the easy A.

TAKE THIS CLASS! If you are taking EMF 140 online take it with him!!Easiest A you will get. 4 abstracts that are your opinion are due throughout the semester, but I turned them all in at the beginning. One paper that was so easy on a television show. The tests are not terrible, he gives you a study guide. SO much extra credit, too. Deff recommend

Online class: four 1 page article "abstracts" and two tests. The tests are confusing- even though I took detailed notes and followed the study guide to the letter, the exams were still confusing and worded differently than the study guide- kind of a cheap shot in my opinion. but if you fill out the study guide and put some effort in it's an easy A.

This guy is the man. Finished summer class early for the semester. Never goes the whole time of class. Lays everything out for you and is more then welcoming if you need help.

The class is easy - almost too easy! The material and lecture will put you to sleep. Still, it's easy. Turner is a nice guy. Two 5pg papers and bi-weekly quizzes.

Def a nice guy but really doesn't know what he's doing. I feel like he knows his**** for more advanced classes but not for this one. Papers due every Thursday... they aren't hard. Overall good.

Great professor! He is very nice and extremely helpful! Class subject isn't always interesting, but he tries really hard to keep the class fun! Not an easy A, but isn't hard. Just do your homework and study for your test and you can get an A! Take a class with Turner if you can, he's awesome!

Awesome teacher. I would take him for ANY class. VERY helpful. VERY generous grader. He hooked me up with an internship at WBAL the first day of class. He knows what he teaches and he will help you with anything.

I expected media law to be incomprehensible and a probable drop. Um, seriously easy work. The 2 exams are hard, so study up from the book and case reviews and notes. But every other assigment is like print out a ditto and turn it in, ok A. Seriously. Great guy too.

Dr. Turner is great. His tests are fair, you just need to study his lecture and the book a little bit--he gives a review sheet. There are a few papers for each class, but as long as you show you put in the effort, he appreciates your work. Great teacher, very friendly and helpful. I recommend.

Comment:

Really great guy, nice, kind and funny. Test are tough brcause of all the material covered. Take notes, buy book and study. Avoid this class if you hste homework, but all in all a fairly easy "B" class.
