I can't understand how she is still a prof. Rude and contradictory, can't and doesn't explain simple questions, and is so mean about explaining anything twice. I am not good with math, and she made my first stats class in university a living hell. I read the reviews on here first but took the class. BIG mistake. Don't take any of her classes!!!!!!!

I feel sorry for everyone who has had the misfortune of taking Stats with this woman. She will never answer your questions, keep appointments, or so much as lift a finger to help you in thr right direction if your struggling. Avoid this one at all costs!

Worst university experience with this prof. Don't bother making an appointment with her because she won't show up.. doesn't show up for her office hours either. Is always late for class, doesn't post powerpoints on Paws, puts things on the tests you've never even seen.. overall a nightmare. avoid at all costs or you're in for a wild ride.

wow. the. worst. prof. ever. holy, don't ask a question or she flips out. and even though she says it's not on the test, it's on the test. every time. and the stuff she says is on the test, probably isn't. if you can avoid her, do it. if you can't, good luck.

Avoid her at all costs. Takes simple concepts and makes them extremely difficult. Won't give you full marks, even if you have the exact correct answer. Completely arbitrary. Treats any questions as personal attacks against her, and is extremely unhelpful.

She is not knowledgeable to be teaching an honours class. She has a reputation with former/current FACULTY for being a very poor prof(reliable source). I am being completely honest and unbiased.I hope people really take these reviews seriously and do not take any of her classes. This isn't a student whining about a bad mark.. This is the truth.

Worst prof I had in university, she should not be teaching 300-level honour classes. Notes straight from textbook, demeaning attitude towards students, impatient and unclear when asked to explain concepts during office hours, ARBITRARY marking, VERY defensive about herself. Not a hard class, but with her it was very difficult. avoid at ALL costs

Simbo has been the worst professor I have had in my University career. It was a shame I paid money for this class because it was a waste of time. She came to class late, unprepared, with little seeming understanding of what she was teaching in an INTRODUCTORY statistics class. She fits in at the U of S. Avoid the university- if not, avoid her.

Ya she has an accent, but she is still able to communicate her complete inability to teach a simple stats course. The textbook is 100x the instructor she is, and the textbook doesn't mislead students about the content of quizzes, nor does it grade students on procedural minutiae rather than their ability to do the course work. She's the worst. Ever

Worst prof EVER! She is extremely hard to understand. Encourages students to ask questions, but then makes them feel horrible and like idiots when they do. She is not a very nice person and is not helpful at all. Exams are easy, but you never receive full marks even if you have the full correct answer. Never take a class from her!!

AVOID!Her notes come straight from textbook,even so her explainations are by far more confusing then what was in the textbook originally. She encourages asking questions but her attitude when answering those questions are very demeaning. When she lectures she gives a very unsettling feeling that she does not understand the material...god help us!
