Zamora will miss 8 days of school, being two months of class time, when we only meet twice a week. Never returns work, never assigns work, expects you to know where in the class we are w/o giving notice of what to be working on. Exams are take home usually. Promises that are never kept, always late on pushing things onto Canvas. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I've taken a few classes with this professor over the years, I was considering taking a class with him in the fall, but I had noticed the review from last month. This isn't a bad luck thing for him, this is every semester. He skips class, and never grades anything until the end, then rushes the grades.

He is friendly and talkative, but you will be expected to teach yourself. He had a lot of bad luck this semester, so I'm not sure if missing class is a regular thing with him, but we hardly learned anything about assembly at all because of it. He waited until grades were due to grade the projects. The class was too easy- I wouldn't take him again.

Honestly I already forgot everything I learned this semester. The only thing I remember is what is an argument. He grades hw super easy. Gives you credit if you just do it. He gives exams as take home. And the final is easy as well! He did miss a lot of days but thats okay I still passed

Different type of professor, misses more days then the average student and his grading skills are below average he promises you the world to let you down in the end and rewrites his syllabus when ever he feels is convenient, overall not a very pleasant experience I feel cheated of my college experience

Most lazy professor I have ever had, too much "tragedies" in his life, missed more classes than I did. Grades assignments on time but just "forgets" to upload any grades. It's ok tho, he will remember to upload your grades just in about 10 days after you take your final exam. You'll realize that you didn't learn a thing after the semester. yay!

We had one assignment, one discussion, and 3 midterm exams. As long as you somewhat pay attention in the lectures you'll do fine.

He was late to class everyday, never graded anything, and didnt go over anything he assigned. We were always behind the other classes every week. Hes a good guy, probably a good computer scientist but not a good college skills teacher

Mr. Zamora is Horrible. He is by far the worst teacher I have ever taken. I would not recommend him if you are computer science major. He will literally use every excuse in the book about why he hasn't graded your assignments. It's a week before finals and he finally graded my assignments with no comments attached. Avoid him like the plague.

Mr. Zamora is a great teacher. Easy class because he teaches what needs to be cover. I would love to take his class again. He is very kind and helping. As long as you completed your homeworks then you get a 10/10 but make sure you understand it because that is the only way you will pass the test if you done the homework correctly.

He is literally my favorite prof at MJC. He makes things easy to understand in class . There were three take home exams and the final was take home also. He was out sick for a couple classes and does not always return homework timely. But he understands the students perspective and is willing to work with anyone who needs/wants help.

He did a great job teaching the class and you shouldn't worry like some others on here about how he grades; because you should know what you're learning, ESPECIALLY your major. Several responses I've seen on here are audacious and poorly written, including vocabulary and grammatical mistakes which I feel reflect their learning, not his teaching.

Professor Zamora, doesn't care about his students. To be honest, he's the most lazy person I have ever met. He never gives anything back. Always sick, doesn't. One to class when it's important to be there for his students. Doesn't reply to emails. As long as I'm being honest, I should add that he is by far the WORST professor I have ever had.

He was the best choice out of the two teachers at the time. He does NOT grade things on time and waits till the end of the year. Been almost two weeks since the Final and still has not given anyone a grade yet. Other than that one thing... An amazing Professor!

I read other comments about him not grading anything. I took it with a grain of salt giving the benefit of the doubt. Three quarters of the way through the semester he has not even graded assignment one. So discouraged I feel like giving up. It's hard to care when you have no idea how you are doing.

Very easy grader but not good at returning work -- Ever! You must gauge your progress independent of any grading feedback because you will never get any until the semester is over. Good teacher, though. Lectures are quality.

This was the worst class I have EVER taken! He would not post anything online until far into the semester. Promised lectures and never gave any. Kept changing his mind on grading. Would not respond to questions asked on the message board. If you want to teach yourself this course by yourself, then take his class. If you need help, then do not!

Do not take the online course with this teacher. Nothing was posted until 3 weeks into the course, and from then on, postings were sporadic and difficult to anticipate. The class was easy enough, but it would have been far easier if some semblance of a schedule had been followed. Also, be prepared to teach yourself all 15 chapters.

He never stops repeating himself on the same thing! He will emphasize the same point over and over again in his lectures. He rarely covers materials that will be on his quizzes and exams in his lectures. You have to read the book to do well on them. He doesn't make the lecture fun or exciting in anyway. I do not recommend this professor.
