Comment:

Group work, papers, and exams were the majority of graded assignments. The tests were multiple choice, short answer, and true/false. Attendance is mandatory, but the class is easy to sit through. She is very interactive with students and incorporates a lot of group discussion in her plans.

Overall, cannot say anything negative about this course/ instructor. Realistically, this is college, so get ready to do work. Took this course online- make sure you read the textbook & Powerpoints provided. Quizzes every week- but you have multiple chances. You have to turn in work on time, no late work accepted! lots of extra credit available!!

I think that she enjoy's when students email her about questions on the material because I do email her questions about the material. I don't know why people are saying she's unapproachable or disconnected with her students. I think she's a very quirky instructor to say the least. I used the textbook publishers PP's that she provided on D2L tostudy

The most critical grader when it comes to your papers. She takes off points for the smallest of things. Make sure you elaborate in detail about everything. It's almost if she wants no one to receive an A. I took this online and there were a lot of homework assignments. Maybe in person it would've been easier so stay away from taking online.

I would not recommend this professor for SOC213. We learned the same material over and over again. I can say I went into the class knowing everything I needed to already. She was not informative, no power points, graded papers ridiculously, and took points off for stupid stuff. Class was an easy A though

This teacher is absolutely terrible . Her course online is totally disorganized. & she is not there to help her students, my friend was taking her course online and missed the first due date by mistake and even after he did the second weeks assignment she failed him and dropped him from the course. also told him he didn't have potential. RUDE!

I don't know how people say that her classes are hard. Her exams are basically vocab that come straight out of her powerpoints and the book. Not only that, she has a buffer on her tests where you can get 10 questions wrong and still get a 100. The group presentation is also easy. Just don't be lazy and actually study and you'll get an A.

I would not take her again. Make sure you fully read every chapter if you want to get an A. Her study guides did not help at all and her power points tend to only be about 10 slides long with only pictures and one or two main ideas listed at the top of each slide. Her class is for fully motivated students who are independent workers.

Ms. Bailey's class was incredible. She has very high standards, but if you do the readings assigned, do homework, show up to class, and FOLLOW directions you can earn an "A" and learn something in the process.

I would never recommend her to anyone. I took this class online. While the tests, quizzes, and assignments are very easy, she is extremely harsh when grading written papers. I have always been an A student in any kind of English class. I even used all of the feedback she gave me from one paper on my next one and she still gave me a low grade.

Took this class online. A few of the assignments were not extremely clear & when I asked questions the responses seemed to be condescending (one had the wrong info up all semester until the last week) She has a lot of classes so don't expect a lot of personal service (however it is a college class, studying & self motivation are a must).

I would only recommend Ms.Bailey if you want to teach yourself. The lectures are irrelevant. Although the class is fairly easy, it is extremely boring.

I thought that she was insanely boring. She reads the power points word for word. And if you come in 2 seconds late then she will mark you as absent. She is very uninspiring and really doesn't know how to teach very well. Anyone can read from a pp slide!

She was nice enough, but way too easy. Classes were a waste of time as most of the time it was moms talking about their kids and all the notes from the lectures were made available online and everything that would be on the test was highlighted already. Meh.
