He has very dry humor but it's funny if you understand it. The weekly quizzes are easy if you go to lecture and read his textbook. The midterm and final are also easy. Lectures can be boring but he always has funny movements and answers to your questions.

Amazing man. Driest humor ever but if you know, you know. Confused why so many people don't like him, he is so so kind. Much more approachable than he comes off across as. If you are scared to ask questions during the lecture, then just go up to him after and he will answer it easily.

Under no circumstances can you miss a test or a quiz, and/or get it postponed. He is a hard grader, and is rarely open to giving you a point or two for mistakes on a quiz or a test. His quizzes are challenging, and his lectures are long and are a pain to sit through. Wouldn't recommend taking him.

He is straightforward/teaches you exactly what you need to know- nothing more or less. 1050 had weekly quizzes, a midterm and final. ALL were very straightforward and not tricky whatsoever. I recommend printing/reading his textbook, it's a really great resource! He is a fine professor, not the best or worst. More approachable than he comes off as.

Dr. Stevens was an alright professor. his class is very straight up, gets to the point of the content. gives you examples of how to do problems exactly like the homeworks and the quizzes. he provides a lot of resources to help u study, including videos and a textbook that he provided online. it was an okay class if you try to know all the material

Mr. Stevens made a hard class SO much harder than it needed to be. His sarcasm can be funny but when he's throwing shade at you, you might not think so. He's available for help, but doesn't seem like he wants to actually give it. I wouldn't recommend his class to anyone to be completely honest.

Comment:
Professor Stevens goes way too fast in class to the point that nobody knows what's going on and just has to watch videos at home anyway. He usually doesn't spend the entire time for class, usually letting us out at 20 or 30 minutes out of 50. If you ask questions in class, it seems like he makes you feel it's a stupid question.

Prof Stevens is an amazing professor. He is always available to help his students when needed, and his lectures are very easy to follow. The homework load is just a few problems per class and it makes understanding the material much easier-- not just busy work. Highly recommend taking him :) he's amazing-- such a nug

Dr. Stevens is a great teacher. He knows exactly what he is talking about and explains everything very clearly. If you have a question, ask and he will explain it. He is very straight forward. You must study for the exams and quizzes. I found him kind of funny at times. I would definitely take him again.

You couldn't pay me to take this professor again. He is lazy, doesn't care about helping his students. I am amazed this guy still has a job. His quizzes are timed and have nothing to do with the practice equations he gives you. His handouts are disorganized and he makes you use a periodic table that looks like he has scanned for the last 30 years.
